Does the job well
I chose this from the options available for price/performance, and I'm quite happy with it. I chose to use the screw holes to secure it to the underside of my desk, so you can't even find my Mac Mini with simple looking. I followed the advice to put tape on the surfaces that will contact the Mac, but the contact area is actually quite small, and I don't know that it is really needed. So, no surprises, works well.

Well made mount, wrong lock included, no screws
Was looking for a way to reclaim some desk space and also secure my mac mini since it's very easy to steal.The good:+ The mount is well built and easily accommodated the mac mini 2018.+ it took minutes to mount+ got desk space up and made it much harder to stealThe bad- Unfortunately no screws have been included to actually mount the bracket- The security lock is not the same one pictured, i.e. with bracket for cables to go through. (see photo!)Not an issue for my use case but disappointingTop tips:* Whilst there are 8 screw holes, we found 4 to be enough (the lock is going to be the weak point!)* For performance mounting with the vent up will stop heat issues with thunderbolt cables (apple side down)* For wifi / BT performance, you might be better having the plastic side down since the antenna is here* The mount is powder coated so shouldn't scratch, however wise to use electrical tape for places in contact.* Buy screws that will fit to your desk at time of purchasing! None are included* tape the mount into position using electrical tape, then just screw it in with an electric screwdriver

Good product, but doesnt always work.
Ordered this to fit my Mac Mini to the back of my LG monitor. When the MacMini is in place, it covers the LG HDMI socket so you cant use it (Ok... so this isnt 100% the fault of the lock but if the VESA holes were further up this wouldnt happen.Also beware - this product is NOT supplied with VESA screws!All in all, with a little messing about its in place and doing what it should, hence the 3 stars (could easily be 5!)

Secure
Does exactly what it's supposed to. Couldn't get any of my Kensington universal cables to fit as well but felt it wasn't needed. Also couldn't see how the cables secured as in picture but again only wanted to secure the mac mini.
