Nice mix of colours
I've used Vallejo Air for a couple of years on larger models then I started painting miniature figures. I wanted flourescent paints for the eyes and weapons (Space Marines, in case you were wondering). These are thicker than the Vallejo Air, obviously, but when using them on a wet palette, they went on nice and smooth. The flourescent colours were nice, needing a couple of thin coats built up to make them pop.The other colours are good too although I'm not too sure who has flesh in those colours . They worked ok once I mixed them.Overall a nice set of paints with a good range of colours.

Superb must have set for modelling and crafting
Absolutely fantastic"base"range of acrylic paints, superb even coverage with a brush and simply exceptional quality applied by airbrush, the set provides load's of the basic colours and they mix beautifully to provide many more, the dropper bottles provide accurate amounts of paint to make mixing and thinning easy...a must have set for modelling and crafting. And a little goes a long long way.

Needs a good shake
Very happy with the product, nice assortment of skin colours/black&white/gold and silver metallics/a decent range of fluorescent colours. As with most paints you will need to give them a very good shake as the paints have separated, most likely due to shelf life. Once you have agitated them enough though they do come out nice and thick. They do need a very good shake initially though.

Really good value for money if you need majority of paints
Really good value for money if you need most of the paints as single bottles/pots of paints can cost anywhere from £2.50 to £4.50 in the shops (depending on brand). I've used model colour for a while now and it's always good value to quality.I still buy citadel paints but they tends to be pricey and dropper bottles are superior (especially when using an airbrush).

The best acrylic paints for model kits
Excellent paint set for model kits and miniature figures. Vallejo are currently the largest paint range available and they are manufactured to the highest quality. The paints are acrylic and can be thinned with acrylic thinners or water. Brushes can be cleaned in warm soapy water. The paints are waterproof when dry and they provide an excellent base coat over which inks, thin acrylics, enamels or oils can be applied as a wash / shade / highlight. Matte of gloss varnish is needed to protect the finished artwork. This set includes colours for sci-fi and fantasy miniatures.

Extremely high quality modelling paints
These paints are perfect! Very high quality and easily rival other acrylics such as Citadel and Army Painter. The fluorescent colours within this range are unique and allow for a very different painting style that can't be achieved with other colour types. Currently using them to experiment with some cell shading painting techniques.
