When my partner got this mouse and I tried it out for myself, I fell in love with it. I had to order one for myself and I'm glad I did. I went from using a generic mouse and this is a big upgrade. The mouse is longer and the thumb grip holds my full thumb comfortably. The button clicks feel just right and give good feedback. The texture of the side of the mouse and the top of the mouse make it comfortable to hold. The scroll wheel is very smooth yet easy to grip. The battery life is insane if you use it in bluetooth mode, which is all I use since I don't use this mouse specifically for gaming. I use this mouse with my gaming pc and laptop, but only as a way to navigate. Now the best part of this mouse that sets it apart from anything else, the razer software. You can use it to customize the buttons to do literally anything on your PC. Such as doing a keyboard combo like alt+tab, launching a website, launching a program, running a command, pasting specific text that you set up, and so much more. It comes with a button called hypershift that can allow you access to a second set of button functions. Kinda like holding Fn or shift. There's so many creative functions you can add to your mouse, it's going to be hard to imagine living without this going forward. This makes the mouse so useful, more than just a device to click on things. This is my main mouse now for my PC and laptop. I don't need any other mouse. Also looking at a list of the top gaming mice, this one comes up as number 3. Now I see why.

My previous mice include the Razer Deathadder V2, Razer Basilisk V2 X Hyperspeed, and the Logitech Pro X Superlight. This is easily the most comfortable mouse I've used, the contours feel perfect and the extra button the side is well placed and feels like a natural addition. I've personally not found the weight an issue, though it is much heavier that most other mice, even ones that use a AA battery. I do prefer the external battery as I disliked having to plug in my mouse every so often to charge it, something that became much more frequent as the internal battery lost capacity. The new switches feel excellent, a noticeable improvement from the V2. Performance is good in all areas with the exception of the scroll wheel, which feels like it eats inputs for breakfast lunch and dinner. Basically when scrolling fast the Basilisk V3 seems to skip inputs. My V2 had similar issues and eventually I had to replace it when the scroll wheel started acting haywire and scrolling on its own or backwards. Something to keep an eye on. Appearance is unremarkable. The new RGB scroll wheel is appreciated, but fairly simple in customization. I have it set to static color but you can have it be reactive to clicking, color cycle, breathing, or a few other options with Razer Synapse. One small quirk is that if you have auto sleep on, it takes a bit to actually turn back on when using it again. Whereas the Razer Deathadder V2 was near instant in my experience, the Basilisk V3 takes a few seconds to get going, which sounds like nothing but does make a difference when it happens so often. TL;DR - It's a really good mouse at this price point, good performance and great comfort. Only negative is the scroll wheel and the weight if that matters to you.

IT Pro of ~30 years. Remote for the past 15. I live on my workstation all hours of the day and night. This is "my" mouse. There are many like it, but this one is mine. I love the fit the most, the in-hand comfort and additional programmable buttons are "chef's kiss".

I like this mouse, but it could be better. I purchased it to replace a Logitech MX-Master 3S, which is a great mouse except the microswitch for the left button stopped being reliable after less than three years. While that's a reasonable life for some users, perhaps, it seemed inadequate to me. My use case is general pc use for searching the web, writing emails, and managing finances. The Logitech wasn't used every day. The 3S has a higher palm hump, which the Basilisk lacks and I really prefer. The Basilisk is similar in overall size to the 3S, so for the most part it fits my hand sufficiently well. Hump size is the main downside to the Basilisk. That, plus the battery is not rechargeable. What, in 2026?! But I've adapted to it, and battery life so far has been very good. It has the combo BT + 2.4 gHz connectivity with a dongle. Both choices work very well and reliably. I like the center wheel size and action a lot. I like the slip pads on the bottom of the mouse. It has a very handy and perfectly responsive third thumb button that I don't currently use but gamers may find it useful. Only time will tell if Razer's microswitch quality is more durable, reliable, and longer lived than the crap switches Logitech put into the otherwise very good 3S. I have used the Basilisk about two months at the time of this review.

Bought this as a gift for my sister and she loves it! It connects easily via USB or Bluetooth, there's no delay, and it's easy to use. Satisfying clicking and scrolling too, which is always an added bonus!

This wireless mouse surprised me! I have had wireless mouse’s before for regular office purposes only and they end up no connecting well, lagging in the responsiveness after a click, or even breaking physically. This one, however, feels strong enough to not break physically that easily. The size is comfortable to my hand sized, particularly for gaming. The scrolling is not crazy fast, is a pace that makes sense, meaning that it communicates well the action to the computer - not too fast and not too slow as per the original computer settings. While playing the accuracy is on point; I have not experience any lag. The mouse comes with option to connect over Bluetooth or by using the usb dongle. I use the dongle by plugging it into the USB port of my PC and the mouse automatically reads it making it compatible to my computer without any issues. The bottom of the mouse has some pads to help it slide easily throughout the mouse pad and it slides smoothly. I got mine on the Black Friday deals so I paid about $37-$40 for the mouse and it feels I got a great deal for a great product. The brand also has their own apps for your computer that worth to check them out if you buy the mouse. One of them I’m works on killing everything that may be unnecessarily running in the background while playing. Once the game is turned off the apps go back to the background running - this helps to have to go manually switching things settings one by one and/or having to re-establishing them afterwards.

Poor connectivity. The mouse goes to sleep if not used for a few minutes. Fine, save the battery. The problem is it randomly won't easily reconnect. Most times it takes about 5 seconds to reconnect after going into sleep mode. Sometimes, however, it can't seem to connect and can take 15-20 seconds to connect. This is very frustrating, especially coming from a wired mouse for the last 10 years. A new feature I recently discovered and has happened to me twice now (used the mouse for about three weeks) is the mouse now randomly disconnects and won't reconnect until you pull the mouse transceiver out and put it back in. Put your transceiver in the back to free up your front USBs? Oh, you FOOL! I thought the technology had advanced, so I went with a wireless mouse. I was apparently wrong and the things are still junk. Other thoughts: - It's very light compared to my old mouse. I wanted something substantial, not a piece of fluff. - Love the AA battery, I have rechargeable batteries and it's s snap to replace this one and recharge it. Ridiculous to get an internal battery that you can't change out in a few seconds when it dies. - I wish the side buttons were not pre-programmed. I keep hitting the side button when I'm just trying to move the mouse and it'll go 'back' a page in my browser. Especially frustrating after I have spent some time typing something and I go to post it and instead hit the back button. I have no intention of installing whatever bloatware they formed to control the buttons. - The light on the mousewheel is utterly useless. Your hand covers it when in use....and it wastes the battery life. Please just stop with the useless lights and colors. No one cares. - I do like the size and shape, and the thumb pad is big and comfortable. - Controlling the speed is easy, the middle button below the scroll wheel will change the cursor speed **Edit - this piece of junk won't stay connected. It randomly disconnects and can take up to 2-3 minutes to reconnect. My $20 logitech mouse NEVER disconnects so I know it can be done. (Logitech mouse is too small for comfort, bought for a back-up) STAY AWAY from this one, I'm regretting my purchase and going to try to get my money back.

Slick design - nice indicator lights - great functionality

Very happy with it! Hard to find a good mouse these days with a thumb shelf. My friend has the version without the 3rd "sniper" button or whatever it's called. I never use it, but it's a nice option and doesn't get in the way. Grip is nice and so is the texture. The two side buttons higher up curve, unlike my Asus RoG mouse. Thumb shelf has a nice rubber grip without being hot/sweaty. Matte feel of the mouse is nice, not rough or slippery. Curves in MB1 and MB2 are perfect, again unlike my Asus RoG mouse. Wanted wireless but didn't feel like having another USB-C thing to charge, plus to stay wireless, plus save a bit on price, I went with the battery one. Cover is magnetic and very stealth, easy to use and doesn't fall off, even in my backpack on my motorcycle. Battery lasts me for about 2 months at a time, with daily, steady use. Takes one single AA. Lots of RGB settings via brightness & patterns. Way more quick DPI settings than I've seen on a mouse which is nice. I like heavy mice and am getting used to light ones, this one is the perfect weight and very flickable. Perfect match with my Razer Goliathus Speed Mousepad. Has BT and wireless. I don't ever feel any lag with either and I play a lot of FPS. More and bigger skates than I'm used to but it works well and don't seem to wear down and the pattern makes a smiley face lol. Stealth logo. Thing still looks brand new. Got it at a great price, shipped fast. Amazon didn't package it well and Razer usually packages a lot thicker but it was basic inside, but I wasn't paying top tier, which makes sense. Recommended! That's if you want to skip the USB-C and still want wireless.

I owned a Razer Viper Mini which I really loved due to the form factor but it died out and since it was discontinued I gave the new Basilisk Mobile a go and OMG I'm in love with it. Perfect if you have small hands and the ergonomics feel just right. The mouse is super light as well. All and all really good portable mouse that pacts some nice features..
