Just Buy a Bulb Syringe and Save Time
Would have preferred if the syringe was larger (at least 10cc). The cartridges slide onto a small piece of clear rubber tubing at the end of the syringe which doesn't always prevent blow outs... This is an okay set up. Bulb syringes (which I found out about after purchasing this) are the way to go.

Super fragile
The syringe is very delicate, thin walled hard plastic that was destroyed during shipping. I was able to use the adapter on a regular syringe and the cartridges. The adapter for the cartridges is a silicon ring that allows the included cartridges to firmly attach. The included cartridges are standard international with the backs cut off. I am planning on taking Platinum, Pilot and Sailor cartridges and doing the same so I can use this on pens that use those types of cartridges
