A Waste of money..Instead get Psoas:Strength & Flexibility
Avoid this book. I feel ripped off. There is no way all the good reviews are legit. The book gives a little bit of vague info in a scant few pages. The photos of exercises are dark and hard to decipher. Some are only verbally described in a vague way. Very few exercises and little to use. It seems a minimal, poorly executed pamphlet designed to dupe you into spending eleven bucks.Get the book Psoas Strength and Flexibility. 50 useful exercises clearly explained. I've tried both books and the Psoas book is great. This book under review, however, is a waste of money

Don't Bother!
First, I don't know who the author is - and he doesn't include any biographical information, so I don't know that he's any kind of expert. Second, he gives some basic information on anatomy, but no pictures. Since I don't know much about anatomy and I'm not good at visualization, it would have been very helpful to have some diagrams to show where these joints and muscles actually are. Third, on the "Basic Exercises", the directions are confusing, and even contradictory, and there are no pictures (there are a few line drawings, which generally don't match what the directions say). I tried to follow the directions for the first exercise, and ended up making my hip and back hurt even worse, so I'm done with that! (In fairness, the "Specific Static Stretches" have both pictures and YouTube videos, so those are much easier to follow - he definitely should have done that on the "Basic Exercises"!) Fourth, I HATE spelling and grammatical errors, and there are quite a number here, so if that isn't right, it makes me wonder if the exercises are right.

I learned so much from this terrific book. It's well written
Wow, I learned so much from this terrific book. It's well written, edited and has plenty of very helpful photos. Who knew your hip flexors were this important? This book and the exercises therein will easily save the average office worker/administrator $3000 in Chiropractor visits, which are typical for back pain from prolonged sitting. Thank you Matt Andirano for writing this book. The information inside is essential for the working professionals like me with back pain.Darrell DiZoglio, Editor-in-Chief, HowToFindWorkNow.org

It is likewise underlined here that practice ought to start with a fitting warm up and complete with a moderate chill off and extending. This book is a great resource!

This book helps.
This book is about how to cure hip flexor pain. Hip flexor muscles allow us to stand and walk straight. Flexor means a bending movement around a joint. This book also goes into a lot about anatomy. A tight flexor muscle makes it so that you can't get it all the way straight. Usually people develop this problem over time. Not being active can also cause tight flexor muscles, athletics and poor posture. There is many spots the pain can be such as front hip pain, side, and groin. This problem can cause anterior pelvic tilt. As you get older peoples flexibility gets less and less. It can get better by exercises. You can do a stretch called static stretching, also yoga, pilates, dance, and tai chi. This book gives many stretches to do along with pictures. If you have this problem this is a book for you.

A short book loaded with relevant information!
A short book loaded with relevant information! Matt was good to provide a short yet concise information about relieving pain of the hips. Most people have experienced or are experiencing this right now and grabbing this book will help them understand what really is going on with their body. I hate going to the doctor for every ache and pain that I feel and having this book handy helped a lot.I believe that the body can heal on its own. It's just a matter of understanding our body and preventing further damage is the key. We cannot stop our selves from aging but we can definitely age gracefully! It is better to be able to enjoy like for as long as possible.

Pain in joints fixed
I currently feel some lower back pains. Never really questioned what has caused such pains… however after reading this short e-book I have a better understanding of what’s going on. What is, what causes, what causes hip pain, how to fix are all areas covered right here. I stretched before going to the gym, before pumping iron, in this read there are pictures explaining step by step stretching poses and exercises. I would recommend this book to any beginner who suffers from flexibility and back pains.

Very useful book!!
This is a great book on showing you how to prevent possible hip, back pain and limited mobility by having healthy hip flexors. The book is well written and explains the long term effects of having a tight hip flexor.I enjoyed the exercises that were given and they were not strenuous and takes little time to do in the morning or evening. If you are someone who is looking to understand more of how to improve your structural alignment, you should get this book.

GREAT FOR MY HIPS
A really good concise read. Gave me far more detail with video links, than when I visited a physio who just drew a few stick men on a piece of paper. Good to be able to read how to do an exercise, what it was for and then watch it being executed using the you tube link. Wish I'd found this a lot earlier. Great read.

Expensive and shoddy
35 page book with minimal excercises.Poorly produced black and white photos, all with a link to a YouTube video. At £8.00 I feel cheated, just look up hip flexor excercises on you tube for free

Don't waste your money
This is an extremely basic 34 page leaflet which has very limited information. There isn't even a diagram showing the anatomy of the leg! I cannot understand why it has been given such favourable reviews. You will find much more detailed and helpful advice free by surfing the internet
