Great reception, sounds great and is incredibly easy to install and use.
This product has excellent and reliable reception. It is easy to install and the flexible arm allows the screen to be positioned in a convenient direction. It comes with everything I needed to attach the magnetic antenna to the top of the windscreen and route the cable discretely round to the device. (I was able to keep the cable almost completely hidden from view remarkably easily, via the plastic trim around the door and behind the fuse panel cover under the glove box in my Honda Jazz.) Scanning for new stations was quick and simple, and I could also easily save my favourite stations as pre-sets so that the rotating button allows me to switch directly between only my favourite stations. If you are looking for Radio 5 Live Sports Extra, it is important to remember that this station does not broadcast 24/7, so you may need to check the schedule online and wait until a sports event is being broadcast in order to find the channel. But once I had figured that out, the device picked up the station immediately. The screen is bright and easy to read, except perhaps for when the text is scrolling very quickly. Pairing to a mobile phone via Bluetooth worked really well and is a very useful additional feature. The inclusion of an additional USB charging port is really well thought-out and allows me to charge another device, such as my Sat Nav, at the same time as using the digital radio, without the need to buy any additional adapters/splitters. Perhaps one small improvement would be for the device to remember whether it was switched on or off when the engine is turned on, rather than switching on automatically every time you start the car, but this does not present any real difficulty and may be better for some users. Overall, the clarity, sound quality, and ease of installation and use make this product very easy to recommend. Definitely excellent value for money and I am extremely happy with my choice.

Great Piece of Kit
I bought this kit for my mother as the radio in her new car was breaking up and the dealership was wanting £75 just to run a diagnostic, with likely replacement of back window as the normal fix, which I assume would be hundreds more... Plugged the radio in, attached it to the aux on the car radio via the supplied audio cable, ran a channel search and even without the included aerial fully fitted to the window, it picked up 60 stations. She only listens to around 6 and they were all there. So set them up as presets, which was very easy. the actual module is very easy to use with a few simple options, I tested the Bluetooth connectivity and it worked great streaming iTunes from my phone. The sound quality was fantastic and was crystal clear compared to the distorted garbled mess she was getting from the car radio itself. I am thinking of getting one for myself so I can play my iTunes songs from my phone transmitted through my car audio system. Great product, cannot recommend it enough!!!

Great Gadget
Easy to install. Up and running in no time. Found all the DAB channels no problem with a great clear sound. It connects to my phone via Bluetooth, so I can receive incoming calls. It can play mp3 songs that you can store on a micro card, though there are limitations it is great for random play. The unit plugs straight into the cigarette socket which was a problem in my car as this is low down and is dangerous when operating or looking at the screen. I bought an extension kit so I could fix the unit higher up. I connected the unit via the aux socket, but you can apparently connect by tuning in to an unused FM channel which I did try, but could not get to work, though I did not try too hard in doing this. Overall it is great value for the money.

Excellent DAB unit.
Bought this in September 2018 and for almost 2 months it worked faultlessly. It is easy to set up and I’ve had no drop outs regarding any DAB channel despite living in the country. The display is easy to read and you can reduce the backlight brightness and switch off the light behind the buttons via an easy to use menu. Unfortunately, today the unit decided to stop working. I can no longer receive any DAB channels despite several attempts to retune it isn’t receiving any signal. I’ve emailed the seller and I’m hoping for a prompt reply for either a replacement or my money back. UPDATE: The seller has been in touch and provided me with a code number to obtain a replacement with 99% discount which I have taken up the offer. Fingers crossed the replacement unit is working fine.

Classy bit of kit
Wanted to convert my fm radio to dab already have in car usb for phone. Very easy to install there is a video on youtube which shows you how, hardest part was tucking away the wires but once done looks great, sound quality excellent. I connected to my aux plug in the car which gives better sound wuality apparently. Took me ages to tune it in until i realised my car has an aux option on the media input. Duh ! I also bought a cigarette lighter adaptor so i could plug in dash cam and dab radio at once. I then hit a snag as soon as connected dash cam lost radio signal to dab radio. Did some searching online and bought some ferrite cores put one on each end of wires going into dab radio and each end of wires going into dash cam. Problem solved immediately. My dashcam is a combined front and rear laksara dashcam. Love that i can now get my fav radio channels and not restricted to just a few fm channels when doing a long drive. If you dont already have usb ports there is a port on the dab radio for charging your usb device. You can connect your blue tooth phone or your ipod to the device to play spotify or your own music. There is also an sd slot to play music (not tried yet) . Very happy with the way this device looks it is neat and smaller than expected with very good finish love the goose neck connection. Not done long journey yet so will update later. Very well pleased with this. I know nothing about media but am tech savvy but i dont think you need to be to set this up.

Neat little device - so much cheaper than a new DAB car radio.
I bought this DAB radio adapter so I could listen to the digital only radio station such as 6 Music and Radio 4 Extra in the car and easily stream music from my phone. The aerial and signal amplifier were surprisingly compact and now sit unobtrusively on the top left on the car windscreen. The aerial and amplifier are self adhesive and stick OK so far. The magnetic ground connection is easy enough to click onto the car bodywork if you gently prise back the trim at the top of the windscreen. There is a helpful video on YouTube to show you what to do. The aerial lead is fairly thin and flexible so it can be pushed behind the trim or door seal rubber then routed to where you have the unit installed. The whole job took me less than an hour, including feeding the cable under the dashboard to the central console. My only criticism is that the adhesive hooks for the cable are pretty rubbish! Note that there are two versions of this item. One has a flexible 'swan neck' terminating in a cigarette plug; the other has a flying lead to the plug. Get the one that works best with the location of your cigarette lighter socket. I connected my unit to the car radio via the 3.5mm AUX socket in the car, so I can't comment on how good the FM transmitter is. My experience is that using an FM signal is usually a poor way of connecting devices to the car radio. When I switched on, a large number of DAB stations came in loud and clear. Just how good the tuner is will be tested next time I make a long journey. The Bluetooth receiver works well and, once paired, can stream music from your phone, tablet etc. The hands free phone function has yet to be tested. In summary, a well designed device that is well worth the money and a cheap option to upgrade your car radio.

Very disappointing performance
I have been very disappointed with this item. I bought it on the strength of the many good reviews this had but sadly my experience differs considerably. It was easy enough to install and when I set it up on my driveway it instantly found over 100 DAB stations. I programmed a few favourites in and all seemed well. It wasn’t until I started driving around the area that I discovered that the signal constantly drops out and the unit starts searching for a signal. I have tried repositioning the aerial several times but it makes no difference. I have persevered with this for 3 months now but I’ve now come to the conclusion that it is no longer worth the frustration and effort. I have an unlimited data package on my iPhone so I now use that and I find that the signal never drops out and the sound quality is also far superior to this unit.

Easy to set up and works well
Really quite straightforward to install albeit a bit fiddly to hide the wires. I have an aux and cigarette lighter next to each other so that helps. The device is small so will fit neatly anywhere you want it to. It’s a shame there are long wires to try and tuck away out of sight but that is the way it is for any DAB converter at this price. Once all wired in and switched on, hold down the TX button and the device searches for radio channels. Select aux on your car radio and it should automatically connect. Sound quality isn’t as good as my phone when Blue-toothed directly to the stereo but far far clearer and better than fm with no loss of transmission. I placed the antenna on the top right of the windscreen (drivers side) but in hindsight wished I’d placed it on the other so it’s not in the corner of my eye whilst driving. It’s very small, so just something to get used to. Remember to unplug it from the cigarette lighter if your car runs power from it even when the engine is off(!) I haven’t explored connecting it wirelessly yet as other reviews mentioned a better reception if wired.

UKW raus - DAB+ rein
Also musste eine preiswerte Alternative her.
