BLAUPUNKT Blaupunkt Daytona 140 Single-DIN Bluetooth Car Stereo Receiver - Black

Looks great for the older cars but like others said on Apple the Bluetooth is un-searchable and the USB ports is worthless. Only Aux. I bought it for the Bluetooth and may have to send this back. I should have heeded the warnings on the other reviews

It plays music, but constantly having to reset it. Know is weak and not accurate, so volume is all over, cheap deck. What happened to blaupunkt, they used to be the standard now they seem sub standard 🤔

Works as described and looks close to factory OEM in most older cars.What I liked: 1. It is simple, 2. Looks great, 3. Bluetooth, 4. USB charging port, and 5. Lets you select startup volume.First, I could not pair it to my mobile phone. Solved after resetting the radio. Aside of that, the price was right.What a coincidence that the model is Daytona 140 and it was installed in my W140 1995 S500 (Mercedes Benz).Happier than a dog with two tails!

Bluetooth does not work

Wanted a cheap radio for the cheap farm truck. Blaupunkt used to be a good cheap brand. Not anymore I guess. I’ve fiddled with it all day and my iPhone 14 can’t connect to it because it won’t appear on my BT list. It’s not “discoverable” as others have warned. Will try resetting as one review suggested, but now I have to pull my dash back apart to get to the reset button on the back. Since BT won’t work I thought no big deal I’ll use the USB connector. Which just displays “ERROR” when connected.-_-How frustrating. Don’t make me use the dongle. I know this things cheap but cmon, neither Bluetooth or usb can work to connect to my iPhone? Probably gonna return this piece of junk.

I purchased this Blaupunkt Daytona to replace an old malfunctioning Blaupunkt in my vintage Porsche. For the price, I didn't have high standards. Installation was straight forward. The bluetooth is not working. Following the instructions, I found nothing to pair too. The USB inputs both charge the phone, but the USB Aux is not able to work with my iPhone. The old school auxiliary jack and radio work fine. I attempted to contact Blaupunkt but they have no phone numbers and the virtual chat function on their website does not respond. I would not recommend this head unit since the dealer/importer is not reachable to handle defects.

This head unit is a total POS. Blaupunkt is a disgrace now that this crap is made in China. A lot of crackles, sound is poor and tune buttons are way oversensitive. Complete waste of money.

Radio looks nice and fairly easy to install however keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth and have to disconnect battery and reconnect battery in order for Bluetooth to connect. Also tried to reach out to Blaupunkt for support and after several emails no response at all. Would avoid this product
