I like the switches that turn off and on the individual USB ports. Right now all I have plugged into it is the speaker and it works good. I have not used the charger supplied with the device. This plugs in so you may need a power strip. Extra boost in power is more than the computer can give so it works fine.

seems to work great. Nice price my only quibble is the instructions don't say what the buttons are for (they turn on the power for the ports) I used it to attach a 2 terabyte disk drive to my fire cube, since the usb port doesn't have enought power.

I am an audiobook writer and producer, and I needed this unit so I could run a USB microphone and a corded mouse into the one USB port on my old Microsoft Surface tablet so I could record and manipulate the screen at the same time.The unit is solid and meets the power needs for my USB mic. Both of my devices successfully ran during the recording sessions without any issues.

I've had this a while now, no issues. I love having one JUST for power. If you gonna hub, get a powered hub. Used for mostly sim rig stuff. Had a cheapo non powered, the case literally fell apart and later the whole thing fried

great this is what you need it works because it has on off buttons and separate power supply. the ones that dont usually never work for all 4 ports. buy this if you need 4 working usb ports.

Best features: it's not too narrow. My previous hub was narrow, and after plugging several USB device into it, would lean or fall to one side or the other. This Wenter, being a little wider thanks to the individual port on/off switches, doesn't do that. Those switches are the other great feature. They'e not little rocker switches, but ones you press down and can hear and feel the on/off click. When on, they're nicely lit (but not too bright) so you know what ports are powered and enabled. It seems a well built device and I like too the orientation of the USB and power on the end of the unit. That part points toward the back of my desk, minimizing the appearance of cables going everywhere. Good job, Wenter!

Hello and hope your having a good day, ok now for the review. I am a gamer content creator live streamer and I needed to be able to plug in more than one hard drive into my laptop at the same time so i can have access to my games I have downloaded and my content I use while live streaming. So I started looking for a usb hub that has a power source connected to it that was within my budget and found this gem with a good rating so I decided to check out the reviews and they where good, So i bought it. I have been using it for a few months now and it works great, I'm able to have all of my hard drives for gaming, live streaming and content creating going at the same time so I can just store data and games where i need them and have access to them without having to unplug different data devices into my computer to search for stuff or save stuff using this USB hub.
