the best cord ever
I keep these by each bedside in all my homes... the length is perfect and they really don't ever die - but if they do, they have a return policy., So when you purchase, register it, keep the receipt in the box. Because they don't give them away and it hurts to spend another 35-39 each time

Durable, good charging speed
I already had one of these and was impressed with its durability, charging speed and length. So I bought another and have recommended this cable to others.

Native Union Cables Should Be Your Only Choice For Replacement Cables
This is the third Native Union cable that I have purchased since my first one several years back.My recent purchase of a USB-C (x2) 8 foot cable for use with my iPad Pro is much like my past purchases.I find that Native Union (NU) cables are well made, highly durable and cost the same as Apple OEM cables (which are garbage).A nice feature I found on this cable is the small light on each connector to let you know the cable is working, very handy in case there is an issue with the power supply or the cable itself (see attached pic). The problem I have found with Apple OEM cables is besides the thin gauge of the cable, they offer little or no flex where they enter the connector which is their main weak point. Add to that, Apple uses aluminum wires inside which break and tear easily. For the same cost of the Apple cable, I was able to gain an additional 5’ of length which makes the cable much easier to use.I attached a some pics to show the difference in the NU cable vs the Apple OEM cable that came with my iPad Pro.My past experience with NU and their warranty on a cable that I damaged (my fault) was excellent, once I sent a pic confirming that I had cut the connector off one side, they shipped out my replacement cable immediately and I had it a couple of days later. This is what I call EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE on top of producing a quality product!!!!Because of this (and until they change their practices), I will loyally use and recommend Native Union products.Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but my experience with cables is that “you get what you pay for” especially if you travel heavily like I do and subject your cables to some abuse or being snagged and pulled by others. If you are a Prime member, I recommend simply purchasing the item on Amazon since the price is the same but you get the free shipping.

Cable lasted 2 weeks. used only a few times.
When i plug this into my elgato facecam it shows as USB 2.0 and the camera won't work. I swap back to the other USBC cable thats too short and this works just fine, so its definitely the cable not the camera. I'm mad at myself now for spending so much on a cable that didnt work as anticipated. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if they can remediate it, otherwise will likely return it. A 30 dollar USB 3.1 cable should work out of the box.Update:Died entirely after 2 weeks. No longer charges my mobile device.

Packaging box
Of course the cable is great - it’s the Native Union. However the package box was damaged. You guys do realize that when the customer buys $30 cable instead of $10 Anker one, they definitely expect better feeling experience. The premium starts from the packaging itself!
