Great samsung memory SD card i bought 2!
I was excited to receive the Samsung memory card as I needed it for my wife and myself, we take a lot of pictures and videos of our little toddler and family so we needed the memory. The packaging is standard, it came in an large envelope (which was tricky as the SD cards were so small it fell out I didn’t realise until later due to the large envelope) and the SD cards came in a plastic package.I received the 64 GB memory card, it’s fantastic as I have more memory than before. It’s easy to use and I slipped in into my phone. Its waterproof which I particularly liked as in case my phone gets wet or ruined by water I know my data is safe in the SD card. It is also temperature and shockproof which is handy especially as I use my phone a lot even when cycling and exercising. So far I have had no problems with the SC memory card and it is running smoothly. I am confident that it is of good high quality and it will last me a long time, so I am highly pleased with this item. Once I installed it , I found it to be fast and effective no hassle which is brilliant. Obviously in order for my SD card to do its job I had to make sure that everything I wanted backed up is to be backed up on the card via setting, so I don’t lose any precious memories and important documents. Samsung has established its reputation and I have always used Samsung to be honest it has never let me down, my experience found that it is a reliable product and their memory cards are worth a buy. Overall this product is really good and I would not hesitate in recommending this item to anyone.

Sunwood-UK sell a GENUINE class 10 card and highly recommended
Samsung 32GB EVO MICRO SD MEMORY CARD CLASS 10 UHS-I 32 GB Sold by Sunwood-UK and Fulfilled by Amazon. (I specify this as amazon lump all reviews from multiple sellers together... and some people sell fakes!)This one sold by Sunwood-UK IS GENUINE!. I Tested it with H2testw via my PC, and once installed in my mobile via google app SD Tools. Both gave results indicating this is definitely Class 10, a full 32GB, no compression, and no bad sectors or data loss.H2testw resultsWrite speed 17.69mb/s and a read speed of 34.29mb/s - No Data loss - No bad sectors.General Information:A 32GB cards actual size is 29.7GB, which is correct, considering the actual size is 32 000 000 000 byte which a PC reads as 29.7GB. Some cards are marginally less as they sometimes have some incidental programs included to ensure integrity. Format with FAT32 and you should get 29.7GB, any less and somethings wrong .A Class 10 card means its WRITE speed is guaranteed faster than 10Mb per second. (Class 6 faster than 6GB per sec etc) If you use H2Testw be aware that in approximately 1% of cases, some laptop/desktops running this test at about a 50% lower write speed, i.e. a card which runs normally at 15mb/sec the software says around 6mb/sec, you should always test on another computer to confirm if you get a low result. For Most mobile phone usage a Class 6 (6mb/sec write speed) is plenty fast enough, the read speed is usually 3x that which is plenty for HD video play back, music and android phone games even in full HD. For most actual usage the you only use the WRITE speed for photo's in which case 6mb/s is plenty fast enough.[*Or to copy something from your PC to your phone (like a TV show) in which case the transfer rate is slower than a class 10's but isn't that important as if you are connected to your PC you have the time for the transfer and speeds not that important]Class 10 is needed for HD camcorders, when you are writing HD video images to your card then you NEED a faster WRITE speed. However as a lot of smart phones now include 10 megapixel cameras with full HD video recording in which case a Class 10 would probably be the most beneficial BUT only if you intend to utilize the HD video recording aspect.

Good product at great price but something is strange with always reloading thumbnails with 2500+ photos in gallery
It's a good product and works very well, although i have noticed something strange:The "gallery" viewer of my S5 seems to almost always reloading thumbnails even though they are cached earlier.Even if i slowly browse with the gallery viewer so thumbs are generated, at some point down the line, say next week i browse again the gallery, then thumbnails seem to be loaded one by one again. If i go to Application Manager > Gallery, i can see that under Cache i have 132 MB, checked just now, which seem to me that they are cached so shouldnt do it all again? My wife's S5 has my old 32GB card (slower than my new one) which is even old from a few years ago and on her phone the cache seems to work, sometimes it's maybe with the empty thumbs but then it quickly loads them all up - under "gallery app", cache reads same at around 105-110 MB there. One difference on my phone is that i have way more photos all in one folder, i also tried having many folders.. no change (I have around 2500 photos) than the other phone, so maybe that's the issue? I tried several times to empty cache, dalvik cache but no difference whatsoever..phones are identical.Shall i delete some photos? Happy to follow the discussion here[...]thanks,Gabrio
