Bigger than you expect
With the Covid-19 quarantine, we've all put on a little extra weight so I ordered a size that I thought would be right on target based on what I was reading in the reviews. Apparently, I didn't put on enough weight for these and should have ordered my normal size. I love the pockets, they are well made but word to the wise - order your normal size. Now I have a choice: wear a belt (and have them a bit longer) or buy a smaller size. Since the summer is almost over, it doesn't seem sensible to buy another pair.

Favorite pair of shorts in a long time
One of my favorite pairs of shorts. They look good and are fun to wear. They do fit snug coming out the dryer but they relax again in no time. This is the fourth pair of this style short that I purchased. Love the pocket space.

A Miserable Shopping Experience
This item is notably more expensive than most of its competition yet satisfaction is not guaranteed. The size system is unclear - I purchased what I thought was a bit too big, but it is tight. The cute presentation in the pic is nothing like the boring design and ugly color of the product. Fair enough if the return was easy Amazon-style, but this over-priced item is a pain to return and they charge you for it. What a miserable experience!

Nice pair of shorts
Constructed well and the fit before washing was accurate to size. Described as "washed" but the 100% cotton does not appear to be "pre-washed" and "pre-shrunk" so I recommend line drying or buying one size larger. At 6'02" and normally wearing 38 x 34 pants the size XL 38 shorts dropped to mid knee.
