It seals nicely and pours well. I have only used it for a few hours with hot water and it kept it's temperature well. I have used it all day with cold water and it was still cold at the end of the day, but no longer icy cold. That was cold enough for me, and it was only quarter full by that time. They all hold their temperature better when full. Seems to be a good solid construction with a secure handle. I can't see the use of the shoulder strap supplied as that would leave it hanging horizontaly. I have only carried it to and from the car, usually in a supermarket bag-for-life.Seems good value for money, especially if you are consuming the contents that day.

I'm a coffee addict and this is perfect. Oversized which is what a wanted. Keeps my coffee at a good temp. I haven't used the cold option

Good flask keeps hot all day.

This is really efficient at keeping the heat (and presumptive the cold although I haven’t tried that). It is actually more like 1.25 ltrs if you actually want to put the lid in but that’s more than enough for me for a whole day of hot tea. I use/abuse this outdoors in a fairly rough environment and it feels bomb proof. 2nd cup no use for hot drinks as you would burn your hands but would be useful with cold drinks

Such good qualiity

To begin with this flask kept drinks hot all day long, then for no apparent reason after 3 months of use it no longer works. Hot drinks are lukewarm in less than 2 hours.It’s been hand washed carefully and the seal etc. are intact so what went wrong?!

Shame this attractive Olerd Large Thermosflask DOES NOT RETAIN HEAT. Numerous tests of heat retention times resulted in the realization that this thermos is useless. After a couple of hours, the boiled water held in this container is not hot enough to make tea, coffee, or cup-a-soup.This was the second thermos(type) purchased, both were returned. I am now waiting for my new purchase to arrive only this time I choose the trusted brand name of Thermos®.
