It definitely gets the job done. However, isn't the best feeling. Feels a lot like fabric and less like a hat.

I wanted to get my brother something that he would like, but also something practical. This hat is good because it can be used for hunting as well as keeping the sun out of your eyes. Very sturdy and worth the money.

I got a summer job working at Home Depot and this hat matches the apron I have to wear and since I work outside it keeps the sun from frying my brain on hot days.

I use it with a yellow vest while shooting traffic collisions for a newspaper. Does the job.
