Lovely paper, beautiful colours
Haven't used this type of paper before as I don't use pastels... it works beautifully for other media though and the very slightly textured surface is velvety rather than sandpapery. Lovely.

So glad I bought it
Really good paper for pastel pencils, much better than normal off the shelf paper, it’s like very very fine sand paper, but....a lot of money at around £1 a sheet....so using it for my proper projects and ‘normal’ paper for trying out my new pencils...

Wonderful, worth it for improving your work, will buy again
Love this paper for pastel work and was really surprised how well my pictures worked out using this. No problem of the pastel coming off when I worked over previous colours or mixed on the page. I am very happy with this and will certainly be buying it again.

Great for use with coloured pencils
I have only recently started using pastelmat with my coloured pencils, and I've found it great to use. It allows me to add lighter colours over the darks which isn't always possible with 'normal' paper.

sul prodotto niente da eccepire del resto chiunque usa i pastelli conosce i blocchi pastelmatho dato tre perchè il blocco è arrivato con la copertina rovinato e diviso in due pezziio li uso come blocco schizzi per pastelli e quindi a me piace lasciali interi

It's the only paper for soft chock but way to expensive

Warped and surface defects
I love this board, but unfortunately this batch was too warped and all but one board contained defects on the surface that stood out. Returned right away.

Not as expected for the price
Much smaller than pictured much more expensive for the size they hold color well but it's less than an 8×10 size so not good for large drawings. I was told it was higher value paper and that may be so but to use to make pictures or drawings the cost too high for the size
