Dolphin Genuine Replacement Part — Durable 60 FT Blue Cable for Agile Robot Movement — 9995885-DYI

Simple to swap my cord for this replacement by watching a quick video. Worked perfect for my Maytronics Dolphin S300i.

I ordered this Dolphin Genuine Replacement Part 60 FT Blue Cable (9995885-DYI) for my Dolphin robotic pool cleaner after the original one started getting worn and split from years of use and would not longer float. The cable arrived well-packaged and looks identical to the factory one — nice durable blue color, thick and flexible. It has that same high-quality feel as the original Dolphin part. Installing it was straightforward: unplugged the old one, connected the new cable, and it fit perfectly with no issues. After swapping it out, my Dolphin is moving smoothly again across the entire pool. The 60-foot length gives it full range without any dragging or tension, and the robot navigates the walls just like when it was new. No more hesitation or getting stuck because of a bad cable. It’s been a few weeks of daily use now and the cable still looks brand new — no cracks, no stiffness, and zero tangling.

Fit correctly (compatible with S300i). Not issues installing it. However after 2 months of use (even by removing the dolphin from the pool when not in use) the outer coating of the cable started peeling (this is problem cz it gets in the pool and filter). If it was a genuine replacement part it would have hold up better under normal pool conditions. Definitely not durable. Not worth the value.

Replaced a faulty swivel cord to one without swivel to eliminate a potential failure point. Working well so far, but does create a need to layout the cord and rotate out twists every month or so. First swivel cord had intermittent connection problems that required rotating the joint back and forth regularly to free up the contacts… which worked… but was also time consuming. Now I can trust that the cleaner completes its cycle and doesn’t leave a half clean pool. Dolphins are great pool cleaners in general, 8 years running in a pool that never closes and just replaced the drive motor. All the parts are available but besides a little fading, and replacing a few other small parts, it’s running strong.

Good product. Fit well and works perfectly

We have a Dolphin S300 pool cleaner that has been running since 2018, so well outside warranty coverage at this point. Recently, the connector on the floating cable failed when two of the three metal tines on the plug broke off, preventing the cleaner from connecting properly to the power supply. While this replacement cable is definitely expensive for a replacement part (around $100 when we purchased it), it is still far less expensive than replacing an otherwise functional pool robot that would cost well over $1,000 to replace today. The good news is that the replacement itself was surprisingly straightforward. Following a couple of simple online videos, the install was very manageable and only took a short amount of time. No special tools or advanced repair skills were needed. We have been using the new cable for about three weeks now, and the cleaner is working flawlessly again. Minus one star for the high price of the part, but overall this was a worthwhile repair and a much better option than replacing the entire unit.

This replacement cord is the one I needed for my Dolphin Active 30. It was very easy to replace the cord and our Dolphin is right back at it. Definitely worth it!

This maytronics dolphin cable even though it does not have the swivel option, works quite well. Have had it for a few months now since beginning of the 2024 texas summer and hasn’t tangled up hardly at all. Think for preserving the life of the shielding casing, just like the OEM manufacture states by keeping it out of the chemically treated pool and rinse off and roll the cable up. Previous cable and vacuum unit was a refurbished model so not sure why it started to fail so fast even trying to keep it clean and rolled up. We will see how long this one lasts. Still a good value for the price.

Consiglio di tenere a mente la modalità di rimozione del cavo e di porre attenzione a sistemare bene le guarnizioni nuove che proteggono dalla entrata dell'acqua. A volte può essere utile (non in questo caso) fotografare bene la posizione di quello che si va a sostituire per evitare montaggi imprecisi.
