Perfect fit, no need to remove existing badge
This product is exactly what I hoped/expected. I got the black ABS Tacoma letters for the tailgate and the chrome finish V6 just didn’t match and looked out of place. This matte black ABS V6 overlay fit perfectly over the existing chrome badge, was super easy to apply and now the tailgate looks like it should have when it came out of the factory. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the dream really come true

Perfect fit!
I was a little apprehensive when I ordered these overlays but was completely happy once I put them on. They fit perfectly and the adhesive is exactly like I hoped it would be!

An OK product
Pros: strong adhesive, easy installation, color matches perfect.Cons: doesn’t fit over exsisting emblem perfectly, it leaves a small gap on one side which you can’t really see from the front so it’s not a big deal but it would be nice to have a cleaner fit.

Easy to apply but doesn’t stay flush and is peeling off
It is peeling off after just a few days. The adhesive could be a little stronger sadly. Hasn’t ever sit flush and the adhesive is sticking on the chrome and peeling from the plastic.

After a week of being applied, this is lifting up and coming off. Adhesive has separated.
