wolfcraft microtip 60 Pointed Spring Clamp I 3431000 I 2 precision clamps – ideal for use around the home and in craft projects

Well made clamp with a firm grip. I bought the clamps specifically to hold small parts together when assembling plastic model kits. I have a number of different small clamps already for model making but what I have found is that one often needs the mechanical equivalent of a “finger and thumb” holding parts in place as the glue sets. None of my existing clamps could do this. These clamps are excellent as a mechanical “finger and thumb” as the clamp jaws are very compact but can apply substantial force and are just right for small or awkward locations. I intend to buy another set.

I’ve got a similar long reach clamp of similar dimensions but of inferior built quality that I use for a model making it works okay but the tips wobble around a bit but these Wolfcraft are very sturdy and operate much better okay? They are a little bit dearer but like always you pay for what you get the only slight downside is that the rubber pads on the end could be of a slightly softer compound to be more grippy on plastic but highly recommend

Satisfactory products and excellent service

I use these to hold parts together while gluing with epoxy. The clamps have a good amount of clamping force, well in excess for what you’d need for general model making and they’re reasonable compact and allow you to direct the force exactly where you need it. You get two in the pack, which is really good value for money, no issues with the quality of them either for the price. I’m going to pick up more of these as they’re useful for clamping a reasonably sized gap with small contact points for the actual clamps themselves.

I should have paid more attention to the advert... These things are tiny! Not sure how much use I will get from them but the day will come when I will need them and they were not expensive. For a small clamp they have a good grip. Not much more too say.
