Worms Forts Under Siege - Xbox

I played this game for hours with my son when he was younger and it is great to be able to play it on my Xbox 360. Condition of the game was exactly as described.

I bought this game for my son but he can't play it because of the version of the Xbox we have. We need to buy a hard drive for our Xbox before he will be able to. So if you have the plain Xbox 360 you might have to get the hard drive also!

The whole idea of having worms in 3D forts, sounds like it would be fun but the actual gameplay was lacking. There are problems with the physics of the game that make many of the weapons very difficult to use. The graphics do look pretty nice, and are one of the pros in the game. The multiplayer games do lack the quickness and speed of the old 2D worms games that made them enjoyable and ideal for a fast pickup game. The controls and the aiming for many of the weapons are hard to get the hang of, so it requires a lot of time just getting a knack of your weapons, before you can become even mildly proficient with them. Overall, this game is a disappointment to the worms series, and I would not recommend purchasing it.

This is a good family game that the whole family can play. It is strategic, so you have to think about your next move. You can't find it in the stores very often, but Amazon had it & it shipped right away.

This game is awesome! I have been reading some of the reviews here about the amount of time it takes to learn the weapon mechanics and the pace of the game. As to the latter yes the death scenes of the worms sometimes can get annoying and slow the pace of the game just a little bit... However as to the problem of learning the weapons and all that it really doesn't take more than a 2 or 3 practice games. And being able to build fortresses and building girders over them for protection and being smart about your connections is where a lot of the fun comes into play! I find the 2D version boring in comparison. This game has more strategy and like a game of chess will require a bit of time commitment per game but definitely pays off! However to each his own... If you like strategy games and have someone to play this game with definitely get it!

This game is cool the graphics are cool to and buy this game because it is fun so buy it.
