This Litrally saved our holiday! My daughter broke and dislocated her arm 5 days before we were due to go on our holiday.. we were giving the green light to fly but was concerned about my daughter not being able to enjoy her time away because of her cast and not being able to swim etc.. we found this cast cover and was sceptical about its ability to completely protect the cast from water leakage.. we did a test and it was completely waterproof! She was able to jump in the pool and swim with ease.. if anything being in the water was more comfortable for her as the weight of the temporary cast was more manageable in the water so offered her some relief.The cover itself is easy to use, easy to remove and is really durable. As long as you get the measurements right you’re good to go!The cover allows a lot of space for your hand to move around so you don’t feel restricted.It provides complete protection from water and it came in handy for showering/bathing also.I am so glad I found this and can’t recommend it enough.

This product literally saved our summer holidays from disaster!My son broke his arm a month before the trip, and was devastated that he wouldn’t be able to swim as his arm was in a full cast.We were dubious and cautious to begin with; only trying it out in the shower, but by the end of the holiday, we had thrown caution to the wind, because he could swim completely normally. He could even dive to the bottom of the pool and not a drop got on his cast. Even in choppy sea water. Amazing product!

This product looks a bit clumbersome until you get in the water, where it comes into its own. It’s a bit fiddly to get on but that’s because it is water proof so a bit tight at first. Completely dry cast on my arm after a good hours swimming. I would definitely recomend this product

Bought this as my son has broken his arm two weeks before our holiday and didn’t want him to miss out on all the fun. We tested it today and the fit was good although slightly long. The seal seams very good and it survived a shower without any ingress.I will be buying another as a spare to take with us

Too tight around the seal and causes hand to throb and swell more

When our 9 year old broke his arm 13 days before our holiday we thought he’d spend a miserable week unable to swim.We ordered the age 8-10 full arm cast cover initially but it wasn’t quite long enough so we ordered the 11-14 size and that fit fine.Following the instructions carefully and taking the time to put it on properly is essential. We found that putting his arm half into the water to squeeze out the air worked really well. Once on it is completely waterproof!!It is as you would expect, very tight around the top of the arm so often he didn’t last the maximum 60 mins before asking for it off. We were able to spend all day by the pool with him using it 4 or 5 times over the day.We were away a week and took with us 2 of the correct size covers. By our 4th day and after approximately 12-15 uses the first had stretched and was letting in a small amount of water. We switched to the second which lasted very well for the remainder of the holiday. If buying for a holiday I would recommend taking multiple covers with you depending on how much you plan to use them.Overall it is an excellent product and I can’t recommend it enough.

I have only given this a one star because I simply cannot get the flippin’ thing on. The opening is so small that living alone, to get it open sufficiently enough to get over a cast proved impossible! The quality is good mind and I’m disappointed. It arrived in a box with other things and as I’ve broken my wrist I couldn’t get it packaged up to send back. I’ve wasted a great deal of money. At least £20.Edit: the seller contacted me after my review and the customer service was simply outstanding. I’m most grateful to them and they have given me a full refund on the item without me sending back as I’m unable to with the broken wrist. I believe they went above and beyond to help resolve the matter. 👏👏 Thank you

This is a fantastic product. Days before our summer/beach holiday, our son broke his arm and had to have it in a heavy duty plaster cast. This type of cast would normally mean no swimming. However, with the Bloccs cover, our son has been able to go in the pool/sea, swim and enjoy the holiday. The cover has made a huge difference and I cannot recommend it highly enough. As regards the sizing, we did the measurements as per the manufacturer’s instructions and the size of the cast cover we received was spot on.
