Really good, I use it on my satchel and it brings it up really well and keeps it supple without leaving a residue or changing the colour. Easy to apply and buff it up. I used it on a really old leather magazine and it worked really well on the old cracked dry leather, giving it a new lease of life.

Well absorbed by leather with no discoloration and freshed leather very well however waterproofing capabilities are limited.

Rarely am I moved to write a review, its either got to be outstanding or complete rubbish.This product is outstanding.I used it on an old pair of leather motorcycle gloves that had got shabby and stiff with use in the rain.After a bit of elbow grease and a couple of applications, the gloves were back to looking and feeling like new.Cannot recommend this highly enough to any motorcyclist or for that matter to anyone owning leather products.Don't yet know about the water proofing as I have not yet tested them in the rain, but after getting my fingers covered in the stuff I noticed that on washing my hands the water just glided off my fingers, so probably it will offer some water resistance.The product does not leave any after gunk and smells neutral or just like new leather.Quite pricey (you get what you pay for) do not hesitate to purchase.

I bought this as it was the cheapest leather wax I could find on amazon, and honestly wasn't expecting miracles. I was a bit underwhelmed by the size of the tin when it arrived, thinking to myself "that's not going to be enough..." But WOW was I wrong! I used this on my 10 year old leather biker jacket and honestly it looks brand new, and I hardly used any of the tin! It took some elbow grease to apply and about 40 minutes to do but I was amazed how my jacket looked when I was done, and not only does it look new it feels soft and supple and it didn't even feel like that when I bought it all those years ago! I would 100% recommend this product and will 100% re-purchase when it runs out but I don't think that will be for a while! Simply amazing. Really wish I took before and after pictures now.PS I never ever write reviews unless I'm overwhelmingly compelled to do so haha, enjoy :-)

Purchased to use on my Car seats. I have tried several balms including TRG back colouring balms which was fine, although buffed/polished for several hours and still it was still leaving black marks on our clothing a couple of weeks later, also the effects only lasted ten months.Update: Having tried the small time we purchased the larger size and have used on a number of items, including a 30 year old watch strap, as the watch's strap fitting are very unusual I had thought I would have to have a replacement especially made but no a couple of application of Elephant preserve and the strap has been rejuvenated and whilst it would be a stretch to say as good as new, it is completely transformed and not far off it's original condition.My wife has also used on a pair of leather boots that had faded not only has the colour come back bu they are really supple and as an added bonus the Elephant preserve has waterproofed them (I do not think they would stand up to wading in a river but they are impervious to water spots from splashes, the water beads off and no dark marks appear). And for new shoes a couple of applications, massaging the preserve in to the inside of the heal and the leather becomes more supple and stops blisters, I used it on my Church shoes who have always torn up my heals, no more they are like slipper now. Amazing stuffI then tried a leather dye/paint purchased from Ebay claimed specifically for BMW black leather, awful stuff, luckily I only did the one seat having applied with a sponge I stopped after a few minutes when the sponge disintegrated, even though I managed a completed cover the effect is very patchy, like I coloured in bits with a marker pen. A warning to you all.Elephant Leather preserve is fantastic stuff, easy to apply and although it is clear (a bit like vaseline in texture) it actually brought back the original black colour of the seat side edges which have become whitish grey with time and wear. I really does make the leather feel much more supple. I have to confess that is judged on a test patch that I initially did properly, as once done I put on a good coat on the rest of my leather to sit for a several hours hoping the leather will absorb as much as it can and I will go and remove the residue.

Product is great.just was expecting a bigger tin for the money.

Big things come in small packages, Although only a small tin it goes a long way.It certainly seem to be very high quality and is excellent for restoring leather to a flexible and almost 'as new' appearance.Whilst it can't perform miracles it is very good at making old leather bags look nice and feel soft again.Good value too.

I read the reviews on this product and thought nothing could be that good so I gave it a try . This stuff is incredible , if you have a tired old pair of leather shoes or gloves etc use this to bring them back to life. I haven't used it on the leather suite yet but I will do the results so far have been truly amazing. After rubbing it in with my hands leaving it for a couple of hours then rubbing it from with a lint free cloth a pair of old shoes looked like new again . The wax leaves no residue on the leather it's not greasy like some others I have tried I really can't fault it .
