Great purchase, easy set up
Good size pool, overall easy set up. I was glad they included an instructional DVD however it wasn’t the same parts for the pool I received so it was not helpful. Also, I had some parts that were not listed in the “inventory of parts” or in the instruction manual - I tried to watch you tube videos to see where to use the extra parts and was unsuccessful. I threw them out. With that being said, it’s a great pool with a good strong pump. I check the water daily and find its very low maintenance. Super fun pool.

Great value
We received the package by USPS, the box was in shreds. The seller had done such a great job with packaging, however, that everything was fine. We just got it assembled and went for our first swim today. It was not that difficult putting it together, and I did it alone. Very sturdy, and a great value. The directions were a little confusing on the pump part, but once I turned the page to the picture of the finished product, I was golden. It took about half an hour to put it all in place, then 15 mins long to blow up the ring (but we did it manually, no pump), and about 5-6 hours to fill with water.

Pool is great but the pump is not adequate
Love the size! It’s perfect for my family of four. The pump was a real issue and wasn’t powerful enough to handle this size pool. We had to purchase a separate pump and it cost 400 and the ladder is falling apart already.

Really great pool
Set this up during one of the hottest days of the year for us and thought I'd share a couple things. First and foremost when you're flattening out the liner, I would suggest trying to get as many wrinkles out as possible before adding any water. We added a couple inches first and I think it would've been easier the other way. The bigger posts that you slide into the side of the pool went in easier if you wetted them a little then slide them in. Other then that, this pool was really easy to set up and run. Another thing I noticed was the notches on the hoses. If you put a clamp over those things, water will eventually drip out. Get them in as far as they can go and clamp yo a flat part instead. We did order a sand filter instead of using the one that came with it due to a good friends recommendation. So I can't give a review on that.

Medium quality pool. *NOT* recommended for regular extremely direct sun
Pros: Decent price for the amount of water it holds. Cons: Flimsy ladder. Underpowered pump. Inflatable top breaks down in extremely direct sun. We setup ours early in March when we had a hot spell here in southern AZ. From day #1 it was leaking. After a few months it finally warmed up enough to swim around under the water with goggles to find the leak(s). The big one is a split in the liner. There's nothing underneath it to make the split. The small one is over the corner of one of the support braces that holds the support strap. We patched both of them, and no more leaks. Both the vendor (vminnovations - probably because of intex's requirements) and intex would be happy to replace the pool for us IF and only if we destroy the pool and waste 3000 gallons of salt water by cutting out a piece of the liner and mailing it to them, along with pics of the holes. They don't seem to appreciate the fact that almost 3000 gallons of water is extremely precious. They don't seem to care. Both seem to be large companies that live by rules and regs even if they don't make sense. Neither would offer a partial refund because it was past their limited timelines. So we'll live with the holes and play the patch game. *** Late August 2019 --- 1+ year update *** The pool liner has held together well in the southern AZ heat. However the inflatable top "ring" hasn't. It's turning very brittle and is cracking in many places. Patching the cracks is an endless process, and regularly doesn't work the first time, I'm guessing because it's a different material than the liner. There are at least half a dozen cracks that have been patched that are holding together, and more seem to appear regularly. We have to reinflate the ring every day before use, sometimes twice a day, and then track down the new cracks, and patch them in the early morning when it's still cool and before it's time to reinflate the ring for the day. Right now it's doubtful the pool will last another season. *** Late September 2019 -- changed to one star The inflatable ring has cracked beyond repair and the pool is no longer usable. I can not recommend this pool, or any intex pool with the inflatable top "ring" for anyone with serious summer heat, like southern AZ, because the inflatable ring goes brittle and cracks. The pool lasted two seasons. Very disappointing. The next pool will have a metal frame around the top.

Family/Dog friendly
So I waited a few months before writing a review.... we live in Vegas and I wanted something that I can chill in with my dogs. Here is what I got. 1. Just buy a better filter before hand and make life easy. I ended up buying a sand filter a month into having the pool. 2. The plastic clamps aren't great, buy the metal clamps. 3. I built a platform for my dog to jump off of and into the water. I was worried how well the pool would hold. IT IS DOING GREAT. I was also worried about the inflatable ring that my dog would put her paws on. It has held up well. 4. Set up was easy. I wish I would have given myself alittle more room on the side where the pump is (I set it up too close to the brick wall) but a note I will learn for next year. Overall totally worth the buy!

Fantastic pool!
--The instructions are not accurate for the pool that you get. It's not clear and it's not orderly; they just totally crap. So watch how to videos online before attempting to put it together. ++Fantastic pool construction overall. ++Very sturdy and I am a big woman so that matters to me. Warning: *Need a simple air pump (like for an air bed) *A large skimmer as well *Took 7+ hours to fill. *Even surface does matter of the difference is over 3 inches. *Smooth surface matters WAY more than an even one. Rocks, sticks, weird lumps of dirt etc ****** smooth out the plastic at the bottom of the pool when it is first laid out AND then when there is approx. 3 inches of water. This is a MUST.

WORTH IT
I have no shade and I was worried about the ring withholding the hot summer sun in Illinois, it wasn't an issue at all! I would highly recommend though keeping the box and after you take it down clean and dry well roll it up and put it back in box for safe storing. The first one I kept out in shed through winter, but the ring became brittle quickly and the 2nd one I stored inside in spare room and I seen a big difference in better condition of the ring. It is super easy for one person to set up. I love this pool and I know you and your family will too! Totally worth your money:)
