This is a neat stool and well-designed, only problem is the wooden bars that are used to prop the top at the required height, the angles are cut too acute and makes the tips rather a bit fragile. Mine have not suffered any damage as yet, but I still consider it to be a weak spot. Otherwise, I think it is a good stool and is comfortable, but be warned, it is not made for sitting on, only a foot rest.

Very flimsy. Broke when putting together and didn’t even tighten the screws all the way. Ended up in the bin the same day as delivery.Would work fine if you don’t want to use the footstool when it’s elevated. Too flimsy when elevated.

Bought this as a last minute gift as I was let down very badly by another company and although a totally different product to my original idea was so pleased with it. Lovely little piece of furniture and works a treat. Small assembly required I.e putting wheels on but could be optional. Wouldn't recommend sitting or standing on it as middle struts little thin but great for resting your feet on. Also person I bought it for is only slightly built. Which may also need to be factored in. She was pleased with it and said it was light enough to move around and small enough not to be in the way and for price absolutely ideal. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

The stool is a lot smaller than I expected, being roughly a foot square. It looks attractive though and is comfortable to use. Closer inspection shows that the soft wood from which it is made is of relatively poor quality with chips and uneven areas masked by the black paint. After a while, I found the soft sticky pads on the bottom of the feet began to slip off especially if you push the stool around on a carpet. I am not sure they are necessary but I have glued them back. The stool is, however, quite good value at the price, is good to look at, and it does provide welcome support for tired feet, so overall although I would have preferred a slightly larger size, I am pleased with my purchase.

The stool appears ok at first glance. Simple to set up with just the feet to screw in. Used as a low stool, it's fine. Raising it up is difficult as the struts don't stay in place causing the top to be unsteady. Unfortunately, even with careful use, the struts broke on the first day. The "wood" is actually some type of flimsy chipboard fake wood. Really not fit for purpose, so returned which is a shame as it had potential to be convenient and adaptable item.

The foot stool is not very sturdy and it “smells” awful. The odour it gives of is akin to stinking old dirty clothes. I imagine it is the chemicals they use but the stool needs to go outside of the house now as smells so bad

Picked up this item today and was immediately impressed with the finish and build quality for the price. It suits perfectly for what I needed and is strongly made, the fabric cover on the top is aesthetic while being a thick heavy material that should pass the test of time well. The Mahogany frame and feet suit the table it is sat under when not in use and makes a tidy additional furniture piece to the living area. Only thing needed before use was to screw the legs on, no tools required. The leg feet are felt pads and help the stability of the stool when your using it while protecting any hard flooring from marks and scratches. Well worth 5 stars for quality and finish.

While the footstool appears acceptable from a distance, closer examination reveals a lower-quality fabric with noticeable loose threads and strange odour. Assembly was problematic, as two legs were difficult to screw in securely. The adjustable struts are poorly designed, offering only two settings. The highest setting is particularly unstable, resting precariously on a pointed tip of the wood rather than a flat surface. This design flaw has already led to splitting during initial use.
