This was exactly what I was looking for
I've had a Salad Shooter for decades and loved it! But when I recently started Freeze Drying foods, the salad shooter discs were too small for potatoes, and they turned to mush. But this one is perfect! We love the shredded potatoes, whether fresh fried or after being freeze dried! So Happy I found this disc!

nice coarse carrots for coleslaw
I used the slicer blade for the cabbage and this for the carrots. my fine blade I didn't like for the carrots, but this one is coarse
