Good at protecting the screen....BUT.... the hole for the front FaceTime / selfie camera isn't large enough and causes distortion on photographs. If you put the camera into front mode without the protector you get a clear image, as soon as you introduce the protector you'll get a smear in all corners no matter how you position it which is caused by light interference around the lens. If you don't use the front camera them obviously this isn't a problem but if you do you might want to look elsewhere....

I bought one of these as my daughter smashed her screen previously so I needed something stronger to help protect her new screen.On arrival I thought wrongly the screen was scratched and contacted the supplier who was very helpful and asked for photo. They noted I hadn’t taken the protective screen off and said that in most cases scratches were on the protective film and not the glass itself and asked me to carry installing the screen.They noted they would be happy to refund if there really was a scratch on the glass.The supplier was absolutely correct and I felt stupid the glass is flawless and the finish bubble free unlike those thin protective films you buy.Installing the screen is pretty straight forward as long as you read the very detailed instructions.I’m very happy the product and I have ordered another for myself.

I ordered two of these, which arrived neatly packaged in a jiffy envelope in a couple of days.It pays to follow the instructions, specifically the part about washing and drying your hands before applying the protector. If you don't, you will get smudging round the edges from moisture/skin oils, that you can't remove as its under the protector.I had two phones to do and tried applying the first one by hand, holding by its edges, this is the one I managed to smudge.Also you do need to be careful that you are applying these in a very clean environment as specks of dust can land while you're working and you have no idea until you're finished. With this one I tried to bend it slightly to apply the centre first then let it work its way out to the edges, I managed to get a very fine hair and a speck of dust under it, and a small bubble in the top corner that I tried to peel the cover back off to get out and that nicked the edge very slightly meaning that the cover was visibly up at that corner, only a tiny amount but knew it was there.On the second one, I used the adhesive strips to hold the protector for application, this was easier to apply, but locating the protector exactly centred on the cutouts for mic, camera, button is still really tricky.Overall, once applied, this is a really good product, very careful application is the only issue, there are no second chances.

Bought this for my old iPhone 6s, which is still working. I haven't previously put on my own screen protector so I did consider buying other products which had two screen protectors, should I have an issue with application. As it is, there were clear instructions in the pack with lots of little extras (wet wipe, cloth and stickers for dust / alignment). I haven't used it for long but haven't had any issues with responsiveness of the screen or scratches. Really easy to put on and very satisfied with the product, the packaging and the instructions.

I buy these for my daughters' phones. They are nothing short of being essential. I think they have saved the screens on their phones at least 4 times. The protective screen cracks when impacted but the actual screen remains intact. Then just remove old protection and fit new.I'm not sure what four screen replacements would cost, but I'm guessing a lot more than what I paid for these screen protectors.It's a no brainer.

Quite disappointed with this. I'm meticulous about fitting screen protectors (to the point it’s a laughing point with my family, who all still ask me to fit their screen protectors while laughing at me). I check for no dust, clean thoroughly and align perfectly. I rarely mess them up. This one was applied to a thoroughly cleaned iPhone to replace an Anker GlassGuard one which had broken when I dropped the phone. When I applied it the edges just wouldn’t stick. The rounded edges were not as good as the Anker one. I immediately ordered another Anker one and I’ve just fitted it. It looks perfect. I won’t be going back to TechGear ones. I’ve attached a picture which shows the glue just won’t spread out to the edge of the protector and make contact with the phone. It’s difficult to see in the picture, but it shows where it is not sticking.

This item is excellent, and protects the front of my I-phone well. However you have to be very very careful when applying (they do tell you that in the instructions) once you 'lower' the thing onto your phone you MUST ensure it is dead in line otherwise you do get a second chance with the same adhesion. I shattered mine trying to remove it and had to order another one. But the item itself is excellent.

This screen protector has saved my phone on many occasions. It is now cracked but the screen on the phone is in perfect condition. Saving me £££££'s. I have the same on a mini iPad that also has saved my ££££'s. Great investment.
