Long lasting flame matches
I use these matches mostly for lighting candles in glass containers. However, they are invaluable for doing birthday candles, and anything where you need a dependable long lasting flame on a long enough stick to save burning your fingers. This company even makes ones you can use underwater. For safety, always blow them out and get them thoroughly wet so they don't set anything on fire when you put them in the trash. Delivery was fine.

Best Matches
Remember the times when matches were 1. solid, 2. did not break, 3. would light at the first strike 4. would reliably burn in a steady, controlled flame? UCO does that. They are the only matches.This eight pack seems steeply priced. But matches are longer, about 3.5" and absolutely top quality. For everyone who needs to light candles, pipes, incense, or start a fire the good-old way. It feels great to strike an UCO match. UCO matches are the best!

The striker in the box lights them first strike almost every time and the long burn is great for lighting candles, charcoal grills, or incense.

Far better than the big-name brand
The quality of the traditional go-to brand for wooden matches (Diamond) has now degraded to where they're simply not worth buying.These cost a bit more but they're longer and light easily the way Diamond brand used to.
