OK but some anomalies
I have had mixed results with these. Some of the plants have settled into my new pond and are growing well. Others have simply rotted away and disappeared. I put this down to me making mistakes in planting them, due to the instructions not being very clear - it was hard to tell which plant was which and so to be certain that each was planted as it needed to be. Some of the plants weren't labelled very clearly (e.g. what is 'varieg'?) and so can't be found on the (very general) instruction sheet for planting. Also, some choices of plant are odd - why put a bulrush - specified as 'for large lakes only' - in a medium starter pack? Also, why put a water lily that needs a large round basket in a kit that only has small square baskets? Otherwise, I'd say this kit was OK. The plants arrived alive and packed well enough. If I were making up a kit like this I'd probably put in some hessian squares for convenience. The price would seem good if all the plants had lived and if they'd all been appropriate for the setting for which they were bought.

Bad Buy
This is the worst value for money I have ever purchased.2 items were completely rotten when they arrived. 3 plants have survived but are so small that you can barely see them. The suppliers would not replace the rotten plants without a photograph and unfortunately we were not able to send.Apart from this even if the plants had all survived they were still a complete rip off. Since we have been able to go out we have visited our local garden centre and purchased plants many times the size and a lot less money.

Some good some not so good.
Arrived well packaged, some of the plants are difficult to identify as they have no identification or leaves. Most of them are now growing well however the Typha, Iris and Grass look a bit sorry for themselves and I am not sure they will survive. The lilies, water mint and water forget me are growing well, obviously if the other plants shoot all the better. The pots and compost give plenty of planting space.Update 8/7/20The rush has rotted but most others are growing well in most cases. The juncus grass finally produced shoots too.

Plants arrive quickly and in very good condition.
The plants were each individually bagged and were very healthy specimens. Plenty of aquatic compost was included in with pack as were good quality pots. I just added some stones to secure the plants in the potted baskets and to add a little weight to keep pots upright in pond. A good selection of plants which came with a leaflet explaining the depths to stand the pots in the pond and a description of how they will appear when established. Very good value for the medium size starter pond kit. Very quick delivery and perfect condition plants too.

Excellent
Plants were all in good condition. They were in separate bags, each with its own planting instructions as well as general planting sheets and help sheets with contact details for more advice and help. Planting pots were included as well as sufficient compost. Speedy delivery. The plants seem to have settled well. Very pleased.

After 2 months, very disappointed
Very disappointed. The plants arrived quickly (1 star), and I put them in the same day, following the instructions. A month later, they were either dead, disappeared or struggling.I contacted the seller and to be fair to them they asked for pics and attempted to discuss (1 star) the plants' health, and my planting. After 10 emails, I gave up the discussion; at no time did they offer a remedy such as a refund or replacement. All they said was that they were sorry I wasn't happy. The pond is healthy - there is plenty of invertebrate life, an older lily is flourishing, and an iris from a friend produced four new leaves in a week. After 2 months, three of the plants are growing, slowly, and two others are alive, but only just; I don't think I have anything like £30 worth, so will go elsewhere next time.
