This item exceeded my expectations. All the games seem to play smoothly, and there are titles that I never even knew existed. No, it does not have the entire library of some of the systems but definitely enough to keep you busy indefinitely. Works well with the HDMI cord to a big TV. Good value easy to use. Just wish the battery lasted a little bit longer. The controllers are pretty accurate. The display is pretty nice. The sound quality is OK, think it was a good value for the money. I have no idea how they fit so many games in one small package. very cool to play with especially if you’re trying to kill time on a flight or camping etc..

This handheld is AWESOME. If you are OLD like me, you'll remember the original Gameboy and how it was LARGER than this, and couldn't even play games in any colour! This device is smaller than that and the amount of games is STAGGERING. My kids love to play on it and they really enjoy the variety of games that they can enjoy. Battery life is decent, but the charging time is EXCELLENT. With the right FAST charge cable this can go from 0-100% in less than 2 hours, while draining it takes around 5-6 hrs of HEAVY gameplay on the device. What more can I say, this is a MUST BUY for any parent not willing to shell out Hundreds on the latest portable console while still providing great entertainment for your kids, (or you even) while on the go! :-)

The media could not be loaded.  I’m so upset about this. Really loved this thing, and JUST learned how to add games to it myself. Was playing it last night, saw battery was low (28%), put it on the charger overnight. Went to play it today and it had 26% battery after charging all night. Put it back on the charger and learned that it DIDNT charge over night because it will no longer charge. Tried multiple outlets and cables. Played it til it completely died and now it’s useless. I hope the seller makes this right for me so I can change my review.

Easy to use, fun to play, glad I bought.

I’m very ROM and emulator savvy so I understand how it works it’s easy once you know what you’re doing but is kind of awkward to learn? If you don’t know anything about this kind of stuff I would still recommend if you like the regular games it comes with! And if you do know how these types of handhelds work 10/10 would recommend! It runs all my games amazingly my only personal issue is the gba fast forward isn’t very fast cause it’s got a different gba emulator than I’m use to but aside from that it’s amazing! I even got a second Ambernic handheld the RG505 so I can play 3ds and ps2 games on top of all the games this system runs I’m addicted!!! If I’m not working or recording music I’m GLUED to these things!!!!!! I see some people giving it bad reviews cause it had no games or didn’t have any games they wanted or liked. Well I can assure you it has games and if it doesn’t either they didn’t send you the second sd card, you lost the sd card unpacking it or you set it up wrong? Haha and you can add whatever games you want and even buy a bigger sd card to fit more games! On a side note my friend actually bought two of these awhile back and both he told me had no games or wouldn’t run anything and all I did was put the 2nd and card in and boom 4500 games just like that I even showed him how to put more games on it from his computer he really thought they were just broken and that he wasted $300 buying 2 of them and it’s funny to me cause he’s way more tech savvy than I am so I’m happy I could help him haha anyway this is my first review on literally anything ever in my entire life and it will probably be my only review on anything ever in my entire life cause that’s how much I love these things haha okay peace out

The RG 353 V excels as a portable device for revisiting childhood favorites and exploring classic games. It's an excellent choice for introducing younger generations to retro gaming. However, it may not be the best option for those primarily interested in recent Android games or who desire a more plug-and-play experience. The Linux-only version may be a better value for those who don't require Android functionality and want to save money.Controls / Buttons5/5 - very goodThe joysticks, D-pad and buttons and triggers are really nice, and cover your bases since they map onto an x-box or dualshock type controller. The triggers are not analog but they're alright. I also appreciated the extra usb port and micro-sd slot!Construction5/5Seems pretty good to me! But I've only owned it for a short time.Ease of Use4/5 - The linux system is pretty easy, but if you want to get the most out of android you may have to do some tricky stuff.Processor Speed5/5I was able to run Kentucky Route Zero and Minecraft on Android, which says a lot about how powerful this device is, since these are recent games. Mario 64 ran super well. My impression of this device is that it's pretty powerful, at least relative to the small resolution. I haven't noticed any serious lag, but if you're a hardcore gamer or are playing over HDMI your opinion might be different.Screen Quality4/5Would it be better if it was OLED? Of course it would. But it's more than good enough.AudioBuilt in speaker, 5/5 - perfect for retro games.Headphone jack, 3/5 - bad noise floor / noise, and can't handle some headphones, but this can be circumvented entirely by plugging in an audio dongle to the OTG port.Game Selection5/5 - lots of great comes includedWith regard to the game categories... Can't figure out how vertical arcade is supposed to work, am I supposed to play these games sideways? Ports remains a mystery, I can play Prince of Persia but installing additional ports like half life has eluded me. Gameboy games look great, and neo-geo pocket is a really good fit. I've heard people say that N64 is a slightly mixed bag, but it seemed to work great for me.Android Functionality3.5/5 - Once you've installed google play store, it can run many great games, including Kentucky Route Zero, Baba is You, Stardew Valley and Minecraft. But the process is slightly frustrating and still only works for some games. If you subscribe to any game streaming services, you may be able to stream them over this device. Android comes with endless possibilities - but also invites frustration and a learning curve. thoughDon't be afraid to pass on the V model and go for the linux only model if you're mainly interested in emulation and don't want any of that.Pico-8 emulation3/5 - If you're interested in using this for the fantasy console Pico-8, I'd say it comes with a version of Pico-8, but it's hard to update to the latest pico-8 version, and using SPLORE is not straightforward. If you don't know what on earth I'm talking about, then don't worry about it.HDMI4/5 Works on linux better than android, but it's really cool to turn your little handheld into a TV console.

Me encantó, está genial, algo cara pero vale la pena. Puedes descargar tus roms desde internet y jugarlos. ojala pudiera ser mejor su desempeño en todos los juegos para PSP. God of War es el caso.
