I've had this leash more than a year now. My mutt is three years old and 100 pounds - a real handful, yet this leash shows no signs of wear or fatigue. Still extends/retrieves smoothly, locks work without jamming, tether still completely intact. Long runout is very much appreciated as it gives me space to daydream a bit on our walks and Jaco loves the freedom to roam a bit. Highly recommend.

Great handle, length and function. Locks easily and we tuck it under our arm while tying up the poo bags. Never tangles but does twist due to dog's movements, so we just rotate it once in a while during the walk. Very durable.

I didn’t realize how big this was. I was just buying for the length lol. But it gets the job done. Very easy to use.

I love the 26 ft. length retractable leash. I ordered 1 for myself, found that I liked it and it functioned well and later ordered 1 for a friend. These worked for both a 26 lb. Aust. Cattle dog and a 48 lb. Pointer. The extra long length gives the dog more room to wander and is convenient for potty breaks where you can stay by the door and let your dog do their thing if you are unable to get around well. The case is a little bigger in order to accommodate the substantial woven ribbon-style leash and handle but that was expected. We have no problem with that. This works for my 26 lb. cattle dog that is on the smaller side of medium, but also sturdy enough for a larger dog that will pull to test the 26 ft. length. It may not hold for a large dog running at top speed to the 26 ft. limit, but I don't know of any that would. You know your dog and have to judge by that. It may also be a bit cumbersome and heavy for a very small dog as there is a small amount of resistance that a more delicate little dog may not like. I would recommend this product, and have. I have no complaints after using it for the last 6-7 months and my friend does not, either. Price is also good for quality.

My husband wanted a leash that would allow our min pin to get some exercise. This does the trick. Reel motion works well. I like the wider tape. Has lasted a long time.

I feel like an Olympian with each night's dog walk, like I am a performer in a ribbon dance. My two 65 lb dogs like to sniff in two different directions. I am able to continue walking with a 50 ft radius between the dogs. I carry a leash in each hand and just keep on walking. If one gets behind there is enough leash to catch up and the pulling in minimized by 26 ft of leash. The handles fit nicely in my hands, and they are not heavy. Obviously, if you live where there are lots of people, cars, or dangers, keep your fur babies closer.

I like the length and it seemed heavy duty when I received it. But, unfortunately, 6 weeks in and the material is shredding bad on the leash.
