The only thing that will work as a replacement for your Hayward chlorinator is this kit.We bought the Hayward CL220 chlorinator about a year ago. It performed perfectly until about eight months ago when one of these lines separated internally and burst. I went to the local home depot and found a braded stainless hose normally used as a supply line under a sink. Every thing was good - for about three more months. One day I noticed water spraying from the fittings. Upon investigation, I discovered the (highly) chlorinated water feeding from the CL220 unit to the return line to the pool had corroded through the plating and eaten the brass fittings below. Back to the local Ace. This time I was able to find all plastic parts: fittings, hoses, and thread type converters to jury rig a new hose. (Be advised - while Hayward does use standard thread types, they use an unusual flare fitting and hose size that you will not find. Proprietary design at it's best.) This kludged up mess lasted about 10 days before the chlorine attacked and destroyed one of the plastic parts.I finally gave up and bought this kit which took about 5 minutes to install. It's way over-priced but I am confident that it will work for a long time. I spent a total of 30 bucks & hours in the hardware store trying to come up with a kludge - that never worked.Take my advise, spend the money for the OEM repair parts. The chlorinator works great but Hayward is going to get you on the hoses.

Part works, but it is NOT a Hayward product. That is why the parts are shown out of the bag.

The old hardware started to break down and leak. You may need to purchase this whole kit as the white nuts are not a match for the original equipment's hose. The old hose, or tube if you prefer to call it, was thicker and will not fit in these nuts. The good news everything is a match in the package and costs less than buying the parts separately. Toss the old hose and use this kit.

When I opened my pool this year and went to attach my chlorinator, the chlorinator hose fitting broke and had to be replaced. In retrospect, the part was several years old and looked terrible when I took it off for winter storage so it should not have been a surprise that it broke and I should have ordered the replacement then.I don't live near a pool store so I looked up the product on various pool websites and then, when I knew what to call the part that was needed, I checked for availability on the web and, as usual, Amazon was the least expensive and I knew that delivery would be fast and reliable. I ordered the part, got it quickly, installed it (very easy to install - I recommend using plumbers tape around the fittings), and now my chlorinator is working perfectly with no leaks.By the way, during the period I was waiting to get the Saddle Fitting Pak, I used duct tape over the opening with a brace and this was able to hold pressure well enough that I was able to finish opening my pool and have it running.

Works like OEM. Missing one of the compression nuts.

I was most interested in the tubing, but it was nice to get the other parts. This kit has saved me money and a trip to the pool store (so far)!

This kit is easy to use and looks like it will last for years...
