Recording Microphone Usb Fifine Plug & Play Condenser Microphone For PC/Computer(Windows,Mac,Linux OX),Podcasting,Recording-Black(K058)

After so many people have written such excellent reviews about this microphone I felt that it was difficult to add much to the already full picture. I thought though an account of my experiences would help. I was promised . delivery between the 22nd. and the 24th. of August - it arrived on the 20th. The good comments made by others concerning the packaging was deserved and after extracting the microphone from it I was already feeling that I had made a good purchase. It feels great and has a real professional look about it. I fitted it to a mic stand I already had using the supplied adaptor ring - so far so good. Next came the connection to my computer. I plugged it in and the chimes indicated that it had been instantly recognised. Audacity was next to get my attention and, on starting I found that the mic was already available for selection. I pressed the record button and I was in business. The procedure, after I had got it out of the packaging was around 2 minutes.After a few trial recordings my expectations were exceeded. The recording quality was superb and even without the wind guard fitted it did not seem to exhibit any popping. One criticism made by others was that the output signal strength was low but I found that with both the mic gain and the input gain in Audacity set at around 85% I was achieving a 100% recording level on speech at 15 cm distance I have to report that this microphone was a real surprise. It looks and feels like something far more expensive and the record quality is most satisfying. It is great to feel that there are bargains out there to be had..

I purchased the FiFine USB mic for some online work that I am just starting. Before buying I did quite a lot of research online and particularly by reading reviews on Amazon.Many of the recommended by online podcasters etc were outside my budget at the present so when I found the FiFine for around £25 I was tempted by the great reviews others had given it. So I took the plunge and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed!The packaging was of a high quality and the contents looked the same. The mic itself feels great in your hand. It is weighty and made of metal so it looks the part.It has a long cable which does not limit where you can go away from your PC or laptop.It was easy to setup and after a few tweaks to the volume and echo controls I was up and running!.Wow! I was amazed at the quality of the audio from it considering the price and that did not mean you had to be holding it in front of your mouth. Standing on the desk next to me the quality is still good.I am looking forward to being able to have great Skype chats and make good quality audo and video recordings.Love it!

This is a great Microphone for the price ! :) I'm certainly impressed.Don't let the word "Condenser" mislead you into thinking it's small ! It's a nice sized Microphone !By the time you have the Mic on the stand, it's around the same desk space and height as my Blue Ice Snowball.The Microphone and all accessories needed comes nicely and neatly boxed, with adequate packaging.You get the Microphone itself, a long USB lead approx 2.4M long, the stand for the lead, and the clip that screws onto the stand which holds the Microphone nice and securely.You then get the addition of a foam cover for the top of the Microphone too ! Useful for filtering out unwanted noise.The Microphone itself feels very good quality, the finish is flawless with no blemishes or sharp edges.The stand is of a good quality too, with a powerful clip to grip the Microphone with foam pads inside the clip.The lead feels good, but the connector on the end you have to be careful when unplugging it from the Microphone as it starts to come off, but as long as you're careful then it's fine.Fantastic Microphone for the price, compared to other Mics I'd rate this 7/10.

Huge amount of background noise makes recordings unusable. Quite low sound pickup makes this worse when you have to turn up the volume. The other option is to hold the mic directly to your lips but this is not always practical or does it make sense for it to have a table stand / tripod. Will have to get something of better quality.Edit: I have not been able to try a condenser mic sound interface with it to see if it improves quality. So far I have been using post recording denoise in application to clear up the sound and it has at least made it usable.

i love this mic it worth is money in gold really excellent mic for my pc and it works perfect this mic has became my new best friend its very well made love the black and gold combo simple plug and play and boy it is powerful when you get your mic settings perfect man this beast will blast the person who your talking to on the other end away love the echo function works really well very pleased with product looking forward to doing business with the company in the future and congratulations on a beautiful product well done well worth the money trust me

I was looking very forward to the arrival of this product, however, when it had been delivered, it was a difficult task to assemble on the pieces together. Also, I feel as though my cat didn’t seem to enjoy the product, similar to me. This is due to the fact that she took a big shit on it, and no matter how many times I used dettol, my microphone will never be the same.

I've been using this mic for just over a year now; I use it mainly for developing video presentations using Camtasia Studio. The sounds quality and clarity are pretty good, in general. It's very well built and has handled well over the year of use its had. I've given this mic 3 stars because it's recording volume is quite low despite making all the adjustments Windows allows. I have to speak very close to the mic to get an acceptable recording volume. Again, the sound clarity is good which is why I've continued to use it. If it wasn't for the low volume issue it would easily be a 5 star mic, especially given the price.
