Personally for me, it's smooth enough when I turn the cube. But if you're looking for speedy smoothest cube ever, go for a more expensive cube. This is worth what it is.

This product is good

I love my 9X9. I use my cubes as fidgets and like to solve them while watching TV. When I got to where I was doing a 5X5 a couple of times in a hour, I got this. It takes me an hour or two to solve, but I find it relaxing. (I know that some people find larger cubes to be tedious, but I enjoy the repetitive nature of solving a large cube).If you are looking to buy a cube for someone else, know that anyone who can solve a 5X5 will be able to solve a 9X9 or a 13X13. Those who can solve a 4X4 will be able to do a 6X6 or 8X8 or 10X10. There are a couple of different challenges between the odd numbered cubes and the even numbered cubes. But in reality, those who enjoy larger puzzles will enjoy them all.

My son got the 11x11 for his birthday 3 days ago and has been using it as one normally would use a puzzle cube and the pieces keep popping out. For as expensive as it is I would think you would be able to actually use the cube like intended.

This is a really bad product. Please see the attached picture. This happened after just half-a-day of use. Di nit buy this!!!
