HEALx Soother Plus

This stuff is fantastic!! First of all I bought this for my rabbit. She had mild sore hocks, some redness and a little cracking on her heal. She is disabled and I didn't want it to get worse. I put this on and it cleared up in a week! It worked so well I had a lot left over. You only need a little bit for it to work. Which is why I don't get why people are complaining about the price, this is much cheaper then something you'd get from the vet and it works which is most important to me when it comes to my pets. Anyways I had a lot left over so I started putting it on my acne. It's awesome! It clears up the redness on my skin!! I also got a small rash on my arm that I think I got from hard water. Well it wasn't going away it was red and flaking. I put this on it and it was all gone it two days. I love this stuff I hope they continue to stock it!

I have a cat who has a large chronic open leg wound & feline AIDS. I have tried many products & paths. He has had multiple surgeries, laser therapy, cutting edge experimental products at the vets, many different ointments I've ordered online & at different pet stores, alternative methods, I could go on. This product is the winner! I have seen such a difference & he seems soothed by it. It also is the least disturbing to the cat when applying it to his wound. It doesn't have a smell that makes him scramble & slice my leg & his extreme efforts to use telekinesis by staring at the door to get out. It also doesn't sting like some making him flinch or give a warning bite gesture. I like too that it probably gives him some pain relief. I like that it has a translucent white color so that I can see his blood against it. Highly recommend!

my bird had plucked his breast bare...our family was suffering some serious distress and our sweet little parrot picked up on it. I used this product and along with some tender loving care our sweet parrot healed . I since have used this on my dog....she had a yeast in her ear.....she had her ear flap so scratched and irritated I applied it and it calmed down the cycle of itch and scratch....I bought 2 tubes to have on hand. I would recommend this product

This stuff is really great. I can tell, when I use it, that it soothes the area. One major clue that it works is that the first time I try to put it on a bird, they struggle and don't understand. Then, the next time, they stay still and let me quickly do my gentle work. So it's pretty obvious to me that it must help them, if even small birds, like budgies, can learn that it brings relief to a wounded and/or painful area.

This is a great product but pay attention to the lot date on the back. This product was discontinue by the manufacturer and it's coming to the end of it's shelf life. The last lot was in Oct 2014 and those will expire this December whether opened or not. I wouldn't buy unless you can use it up quickly with a lot of animals. If you're looking for a comparable product go with the Soother Topical Spray by the same company because there's nothing in it that can go bad.

I had rescued a rabbit over a year ago that had been kept in very bad conditions, as a result he had very bad sore hocks. I've been trying different things over the year, but those just kind of seem to keep them from getting worse. This was the first product that actually seemed to help them heal, and he is actually getting good color back to the skin that is exposed, and hair is actually starting to grow back over them. A must-have for your first aid kit for rabbits.

I have a red-fronted macaw who had been chewing/biting both feet constantly. My vet recommended this product since I didn't want to resort to collaring her or worse, heavy drugs. So far so good. I applied it twice a day at first--morning and evening. My vet also prescribed some birdie-advil for the pain (yes it was pretty bad in places) and it has really helped.I am now applying Avix once a day and her feet are almost healed. It is wonderful to have a product that helps my bird and is safe, in case she picks at her feet (which she still occasionally does). I will continue to use this as long as needed and would most definitely re-purchase.

I have an umbrella cockatoo who hurt his foot on his cage. He had to have the tallon removed. This has really helped his sore heal. Highly reccomend it. I accidently got some on a cut of mine and it really helped it heal. I asked my vet if this was safe, and she said they all use it on themselves in the office. This is really amazing suff for birds.

Good stuff. I bought it because people on the Yorkshire Rat Club facebook page recommended it. Heals up my rats' war wounds really quickly and I only need a tiny amount. Don't let the rats chew the tube though - I have discovered this stuff gets mouldy if not kept properly airtight.

Great to use on animals, non toxic if they lick. Used on rabbits and dog, very effective
