Brilliant portable pill cutter, easy to use with the graduated silicone holder section & slices even small 25mg pill cleanly in two. Easy to wash & ideal for keeping in a bag when out for the day or for travelling. Great value for money.

I bought this to split tiny pills which have been prescribed as half a tablet per day. After trying to break them in two with a sharp knife, which resulted in not much more than bits and powder, I decided to give this a go, choosing the inky blue colour option.The shell is made of hard, transparent plastic, with a silicone interior to secure the tablet within its V-shaped section, ready for the chop. This helps to prevent the pill from shifting away from the blade as it makes contact.The result is excellent: about as close to a 50–50 split as you could hope for, with practically zero effort, and negligible powder debris from the breakage (see attached video). This is important in my case, as I’m not splitting them for ease of swallowing, but to follow the doctor’s orders of precisely half a pill dosage.The cutter is a sharp metal, razor-type blade, fitted under the lid, which hinges open at one end, functioning as a guillotine when closed, and clicks shut to store tablets as well.The underside has a bonus storage compartment, opened by sliding the plastic case outward until it clicks, and reversed to click closed again. It’s large enough to contain quite a few tablets, depending on their size. All good so far.Overall, this is an excellent little device, which actually performs better than I expected. Combined with the fairly nominal cost, this has proved quite an essential item in my case, and surely worth it as a general good-to-have addition to the medicine cupboard. Nifty little gadget. Easy to use and cuts efficiently and safely.

It does exactly what it says it does.....it cuts the tablet cleanly and the space to put spare pills is useful. What I also like is that the gadget fits very easily in my pocket. Good value, good design, good cutter. No complaints at all.

Great works very well

Functional. However, if the pill/tablet is not placed very carefully, and if the hinge movement is not tightly controlled, the cut won't be in half. Not suitable if you require precise dosing each time you take the pill/tablet.

An absolutely brilliant idea an I love this item for my sons medications rather than leaving them on the side this is a much more hygienic and a better option . it’s easy to use and has a great storage capacity and is great for managing medication and fits nicely in a pocket or a handbag for when your out and about Definitely great value for money . And I will be purchasing again for myself a freat buy .

Gets the job done but the blade is a bit flimsy, be careful.

I was excited to receive the pill cutter as I have been using a knife to cut my pills. But was disappointed. Item was flimsy. I was trying to cut my pills but after about 20 pills the item clasp gave way. Tried fixing it, worked for one pill but not continuos use. I had to discard it.
