Ideas:* first made traced copies of each size and cut them out separately which saves a lot of money.*You can also mix and match pattern pieces specific for sizes according to your liking. For example you can choose a medium bodice but chose a 15-18 neck.*You can adjust the length making it longer to tuck in or shorter to leave un-tucked.*You can cut each pattern piece from different color material.*You can forgo the collar and just use the collar stand making a Mandarin collar shirt.* You can choose not to apply the pockets or you can apply two.It's really up to. If you really like to sew, and learn this pattern you will never buy another off the rack shirt again.

This is the pattern used with the Craftsy Tailored Shirt Class. The pattern is a very good basic with or without the class.

I love this shirt pattern, although I have only sewn the short sleeved version a few times.It is easy to follow - and this is coming from a male sewist.....!!! *** Caveat - do what the pattern tells you to do, NOT what you think it's telling you to do - lol...! ***I am size XL and made the shirt in this size and the finished garment is a comfortable fit.This is an ideal pattern for a beginner as long as you follow the pattern. If you are stuck, there are plenty of videos on YouTube for the tricky bits, such as sewing the collar. OK, you may not find a tutorial on the exact same pattern, but you will find similar and the fundamentals are all basically the same.Well worth buying, in my opinion.

The pattern was very clear and straightforward. If it fits it will be a fabulous slim fit shirt. But I have worried it might be too slim...All the bits went together really well.It is a bit of a marathon for a first time shirt sewer, and I wouldn’t recommend starting a project like this a fortnight before Christmas. Well it’s done bar the buttons with 6 days to go.But the pattern works and it looks fab in the Liberty fabric which is all you can hope for!

A nice pattern to use and true to size. The instructions were clear apart from how to sew the yokes at the shoulders - had to look on You Tube for help.
