Fun, Simple, Inexpensive Subtle Mod
Matte Black version. Once I read the tip about which end goes up top (the rope and bottom ends are sloped - the top is the one with the holes closer to the curve/smaller slope) they popped right in place. I used a tip from another mod product and started the tape on each side, leaving the ends out, then positioned the piece fully snapped in place before pulling the tape the rest of the way off. Avoids ruining the tape if re-positioning is necessary. I had to reposition one because I didn’t know about there being a top and bottom of the piece. When I did it ruined the tape and broke a tab. I added some 3M molding tape to the top where the tab was broken and it seems to be holding fine. I also wiped the openings down with alcohol wipes prior to attaching the pieces. Cute, subtle upgrade. Elevates the look without being obvious.

Great product
Easy installation, just wish they gave a little more 2 sided tape. Looks fantastic.

So Far - So Good
I was skeptical with purchasing this product because of the consistent negative reviews. Since it was fairly cheap in price, I went out on a limb and bought it anyway. I promptly received the package, inspected all seven grille mesh inserts and report no damage; the locking tabs were in good shape and the double sided tape were appropriately fixed to each mesh insert. The directions were vague, but with a little common sense it wasn't at all difficult to figure out. After a thorough cleaning, I partially removed the grille on my 2015 JK Jeep wrangler so I had access to the backside. Since tape was involved, I also cleaned the contact surface areas with 70% Isopropyl alcohol. I installed each mesh insert and ensured each locking tab was fully engaged, then I firmly pressed each mesh insert to the grille to ensure good contact of the tape. Reinstalled the grille - overall it might have taken me 15 minutes. I didn't have any problems with installation, no accidental broken tabs, no accidental breaking of the mesh; no fuss - no muss. That's phase 1. The next phase will be driving, car washing, etc. over a undefined period of time to see if the mesh inserts stay in place. I'll report back then. But for now - the front of the Jeep looks great. It's nice not having to look at the radiator, and knowing the radiator fins are more protected from stones, rocks, etc.

Meh
For the price they are, they're an okay cheap option. However, install kind of sucks. Not because it's hard, it's easy as pie to install, but the clips basically do nothing so it's relying on the crap 3M double sided tape included to hold them in. The problem is since the clips do nothing the tape makes it want to pop out, so even if you firmly press them for a few minutes on a hot day they'll just pop off. If you get them, buy better tape to hold them in than what's provided. Otherwise, look great and are a better look than the crap plastic chrome ones I had originally.

Easy Install, Dramatic Upgrade Look
We're only on day 2 of having them in, but the initial reaction is this is a great value given the price, ease of install, and subtle but nice change in the look of the grill. 2014 Sahara Unlimited no problems with the fit. As others have said, be sure you recognize the "up" from "down" direction for install - the bottom has the larger "lip" to fit over the material on the bottom of the slot in the grill. We had a rare day of sun in Syracuse, so I removed the adhesive strips and laid the pieces out to get the glue tacky before clipping them in. You don't have to pop out the body clips and drop the grill out for install, but it made it easier especially on the last couple. You'll want to get your fingers behind the grill to be sure the clips are secure before giving the sides with adhesive strips a good couple seconds of pressure to secure. Once in they're very secure, super attractive, but not over the top. Overall, a cheap effective upgrade.

Not a good product
These look good but the clips do not hold them in. The double-sided tape they give you is not very adhesive at all. I will either have to return them or buy 3M tape. But if that’s the case, should’ve just bought the more expensive ones you’ll live and learn. Don’t waste your money.

For JK: They DO fit... just need to take your time.
I've held off ordering these for quite awhile - not because of the ratings which overall are good (and pretty typical as far as Amazon ratings go) - but because of the "frequently returned" notice at the bottom of the listing. With a Prime Day deal, I decided to pull the proverbial trigger and order them. Following is my experience for JK installation... These are not "snap in and go." I believe this belief is why they are frequently returned. If you try to simply snap them in place, you'll fail. You need good access to the back of your grill. Access is simple: Remove the plastic retainer clips that hold the top of the grill in place, and pop free the retaining clips below each headlight (you'll figure it out when you get there). This allows you to pivot the grill forward for access to the back. (You don't need to remove the grill... just pivot it forward from the top.) The inserts have different sized retaining clips top and bottom (the instructions don't mention this and further don't indicate if the longer clips go at the top or bottom). I found it was best to place the longer clips at the top. Once your double-sided tape is on, place the insert in the grill space and with some pretty good muscle starting with the clips on top, push the grill to the insert with one hand and the insert to the grill with your other hand (in other words, push them together with a two-handed pinching motion). The top clips will audibly snap in place with the grill. Repeat this with the bottom clips. Note that the bottom clips don't seem to give an audible click... just VERY firmly push the grill and clips together until the clips visually appear seated on the grill. If you're worried that the inserts may pop off "down the road," don't. I have a hood lock that didn't want to cooperate after installation and I had to remove the middle insert for better access to adjust the lock. It was very difficult to remove the insert. Once these inserts are installed, they're not going anywhere. The only caveat is that the company doesn't provide quite enough double-stick tape. I only had enough tape for six of the seven inserts. I based the amount to use on each insert on the instructions pics. (Fortunately I had my own double-stick tape on hand). My recommendation is to use no more than about 5 inches of tape for each insert for each side. I think this will give you enough for all seven inserts. Hope this helps!

Great Upgrade
Easy to install and looks great. Take a few minutes and get the fit down. These will snap in, but you have to get the feel down. I recommend starting at one side moving across. You can use your hand through the slats to help get it to click in. I did use a little bit of the tape just as extra security but only put it on a couple inches per side. Haven’t had any issues with them moving at all. I love the look and this also helps channel water and rain from getting inside the grill and causing rust!

Fit perfectly and and key coded correctly. duct.
Material was good quality and was exactly as decribed. Clips with adhesion worked very well and installation was easier than expected.
