Just be aware... specific pH solutions needed for calibration
You need to calibrate this right away and the meter comes with pH powders that you have to mix yourself. I just got this, and the first reading (without calibration) of 7.0 buffer was 8.68, so calibration was needed. To do so, it comes with three packets to make 3 pH buffer solutions for the calibration process - at 4.01, 6.86 and 9.18. Many people have 7.0 and 4.0 solutions, you know, standard references. I mixed up the solutions as directed and see what a bad process this is. In addition to non-standard requirements, measuring the packets, measuring water both can introduce measurement issues. For me, I have been mixing the 9.18 solution on and off for over an hour and there is still bits of powder that refuse to dissolve. I went ahead with the calibration process and the first two solutions did what the test procedure required. When I got the the 9.18 solution, the tester just flashed between 8.68 and 9.18 and so the calibration process could not be finished. I shut the pH meter off, then tried it again later. The pH of 7.0 reference solution was 7.15 and it showed 4.25 when i used the 4.0 buffer solution. I'll try warming up the last mix to see if I can get it to dissolve, then repeat the process. So is this useable, sort of.

Great shipping, calibration was a little difficult
Good price and shipped fast. Calibration was a little tricky. So far, so good

Great for the money
When i mixed up a batch of fertilizer it dropped the PH to around 5.8 knowing this i was able to bring it back up to around 6.75 , my plants were happy :-)

It works good!
I liked the practicality of this product. And there's nothing I didn't like. I recommend 👍🏻

way more accurate than competitor
for any botanist you are concerned about keeping your soil and water in the corrrect ph for nutrient uptake or even to stop nutrient uptake in a flush. this is way more accurate than the competitor and feels higher quality in the hands

Really bad directions
Seems to be working but the directions are really bad imo.

Junk. Killed some of my plants.
Apparently it worked great for about 2 weeks. Then one day, with full batteries it said that the PH was zero. Of course that was puzzling but that absolutely explained why some of my plants are dead now. I trusted my instruments. That was a mistake. I thought that these readings cannot be right, but I went along anyways. Many airplane crashes happen because the pilots refused to trust their instruments. I didn't want to do that but I wish I would have. Luckily I still had my old Bluelab PH tester. A few days after the PH went out on the cheap one, then the EC started acting all weird. I couldn't understand it since water with nutrients in it had less EC than straight well water. Well it didn't take too long to dawn on me what was going on so I ordered the Bluelab Truncheon 2, and as usual the cheapest was the most expensive. I absolutely love all my Bluelab stuff and I can't believe I decided to try a cheap thing. I thought I might just keep the cheap thing for the temperature reading but that's way off as well. When I'm done writing this I'm going to throw this meter as far as I can out into the briars, and hopefully chalk this up to a lesson learned that I already learned a whole bunch of other times.

Need to be calibrated each time..update: After 45 days stop working correctly
UpdateAfter 45 days…it’s not working correctly..I calibrated…I turn off…clean with distilled water…with the 6.86 solution…it’s read 6.2 …try few times…same results…now , good for garbage.I have 4 not expensive Ph meters…..after few weeks or months, they all stop working correctly. The sensor are probably from the same Chinese manufacturer.——————It’s fast to read…stabilize rapidly….but need to be recalibrated often…way off after 2-3 daysMaybe good storage instructions and possible storage solution should be provided….

This is garbage
Turned it on and calibrated. Tested my salt aquarium and was showing low readings. Then it shut off and wouldn't turn back on. Pulled battery and it powered up. Tested my tap water and it was reading all over and very low. Tested my aquarium and was all over but constantly low 7 and I know my tank is 8.2. Big problem here. If I trusted this as accurate and raised my ph. I would have probably killed over 1000 dollars of marine life not including priceless corals. Returning and no thanks.

Waste of money and a waste of time
I ordered it and it didn't work. After it failed when I calibrated with the set of powders that came with it I emailed the address on the instructions several weeks ago and they never replied. I ordered a new set of calibration powders and when I was done this meter told me that distilled water had a pH of 6.7. A few minutes later it said 4.77.

broke after 3 uses
As soon as I used it I never felt comfortable the accuracy, always recalibrating. Then it just stopped working on display.I said I should have spent the $ on a blue labs meter and ordered one with 24 hr. delivery. That I'm used to and familiar with.

Junkie display screen
Ive ordered these in the past with a different brand name on it but this one doesnt seem to be as well made. The display is barely able to be read. I thought it was just a weak battery but even with a brand new one it didnt make a difference. I wouldnt purchase one of these again.
