Works well and easy to use
Very happy. Cost-effective 6inch digital caliper that handles well. Easy to handle and holds zero repeatably. Easy to read in mm (2 dp), inches (3 dp with the half-thou) and fractions (of 128th of an inch). Bought to help quick reads in thous (of an inch) for checking string gauges on guitar and ukulele repairs (rather than converting a manual metric caliper). ASME (US) calibration included. Spare Batt (CR2032), batt cover plate screws and small crosshead screwdriver included. Nice case for the inspection gear shelf too.

According to the calibration certificate its tolerance is +-0.001" (+-0.0254 mm) for outside, inside and depth measurements.Outside test measurements: 0, 1, 3, 4, 6 inch.Inside: 0.2, 1 inch.Depth: 0 inch.Comes with a spare battery and a nice foam case.Also, it's rated IP54. Seems overkill for a caliper but if you need to do measurements outdoors in the rain... Why not.
