Works great easy to cut
This product works great. Comes vacuum packed. Let is sit to expand to 1". I used 2" blue painters tape and put it on top to make my measurements and trace the item for it to hold. In this case, a dash cam. Initial cut to size with size and then used a utility knife to cut the item line out of the center. Really easy to cut. No issues.....

Let them breathe
These arrive super compacted with all the air out of them in a vacuum bag. Good for shipping I suppose, but you need to take them out and give them a couple days to fully rebound. They seem squishy enough and will suit the purpose. I don’t think they are a full 1” thick, maybe 7/8 or so.

Used it for my gun case was easy to carve out the pattern for my pistols to rest in

This is not Polyethylene foam!
Buyer beware! This product is NOT polyethylene foam! It is polyurethane foam. Perfect if you are looking for soft packing material for optics etc but NOT suitable for shock absorption for heavier items! Seller should at least know how to correctly identify their own product 🤬

Love these work great in a gun cabinet also
Bought these for the bottom of my gun cabinet so there was a nice soft layer on the bottom and worked just like I wanted it to, couple hours to fully expand and easy to cut with sharp scissors

Not as advertised..
I ordered 1" thickness, and they came in a vacuum sealed type packaging. So I let it expand for a couple hours. Some corners didn't fully expand, so gives it a weird shape. See attached pictures. I measured them and the thickest one was only about 3/4". Measured the whole stack(6) and it didn't even measure up to 5". The material is softer than other 'PE Polyethylene' I've purchased before, not what I wanted. These would be good for a case, as it's soft enough to not damage items.These will be going back, will re-order my previous one, not that much price difference.

Perfect for my need.
I am using these for my art. I work on wrapped canvas, and needed to reduce the bounce of the canvas while I work. These work great, can be cut to suit the size I need. Sturdy enough for my use.
