I purchased a new auto and wanted a cell phone holder. The first one I ordered wasn’t the right fit for the air vent so I decided to give this one a try. It adjusts and works great and I like the fact that I can still use as a cup or beverage holder along with a cell phone mount and holder. Nice

Very sturdy and easy to release and tighten phone. Adjustable phone height. Replaced a much flimsier model with this one, and love it!

I like this contraption and use it every time I drive.The part that goes in the cup holder isn’t solid. It comes out now & then. So that’s irritating.Also, if you have a pog or something on the back of your phone, the phone may not fit. It has only a narrow space to hold a phone. It’s not a deep space.I have a magnet wallet on the back of my phone. It holds 3 cards. And I have to take that off to fit my phone in the slot.I do like this and it’s useful. I had no other space I could figure out to put my phone in my car. This is a great solution.********* Editing 1 year later ********Adding:It pops out of the cup holder now regularly. Drives me bonkers. It just won’t stay in.I have given up on this contraption & gotten a dash mount (which also isn’t ideal for me, because it blocks part of my windshield!)

Great concept, average execution. Worked well for a few months, but eventually the middle hinge has become inoperable. I've fixed it twice already, but now it is completely useless.. Expect to get 12-18 months of use tops.

Great for car. Sturdy. Easy to assemble and adjust. It will also hold a Garmin. Holds a large tumbler with a tapered bottom.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this one because I didn’t want anything that stuck to my dashboard which is leather. I didn’t want anything to stick in my air fence and block air conditioning or heat.Vibration level:I live in the country and the roads are rough nothing moves. There’s no vibration. The phone doesn’t budge. It is secure.Ease of use:Take two seconds to put into your cupholder and I can still put a cup in there, too!!!Sturdiness:Much sturdier than the one I had, very happy with the purchase it was exactly what I needed and wanted.

I bought two of these. I'd made the mistake of trying the a/c vent type before, which kept dropping and drooping. The suction type with the holder when out in the heat, doesn't last for long and blocks your view. I refuse to put anything on the back of my phone like a magnet, to make it even bigger and less streamlined to carry. I had given up after all those failures. Somehow I chanced upon a review of a car cup holder type of phone holder and thought... NO WAY.. okay, don't get too excited! Took a chance, and am so glad I did. First and most importantly it's so much safer driving this way. I used to balance the mobile in my lap, and grab it to see quick updates on navigation. Now, I can glance quickly over and don't have to worry about my phone dropping and sliding around under my seat any longer. The ability to put a drink in the cup holder at the same time is bonus! However, if you need to charge the phone, then the drink will most likely be in the way. Still. I can't complain. The drink can go in my lap now. One cautionary note, see where your cup holder is in relation to your seat. In my van, it's absolutely fine. In our sedan, it's a wee bit too far back for my preference. It still works though. It would be great if they made a version, with longer arms for those situations to get the mobile farther forward. The knobs hold the arms in place well after you adjust them. In the van, because the cup holder accommodates two different size travel cups, the holder popped up once while in use and came out completely. Like other reviewers mentioned, the tension to squeeze the phone holder tight to insert it into the cup holder is no joke. If you have a stepped cup holder, just periodically check to make sure it's not sliding up. That's what I do and I haven't had it pop out again. I'm just happy there's a solution that works and I can finally be hands free.
