I picked up this battery for a non-standard use, and it’s been surprisingly versatile. It delivers consistent power, holds a charge well, and recharges quickly. I won’t get into specifics, but it’s proved itself beyond its intended purpose. A solid choice for my unique needs. It is what you think it is. Just make sure to read the instructions first to change it out of soldering mode.

The first one I purchased would not heat (when fully charged) - returned for a replacement. The replacement works just fine. One thing that's different from many hand-held devices is you have to press the button five times quickly and that turns it on - and it stays on until you click five times quickly to turn it off... used to just pressing the button for power and releasing it to turn it off.

Didn't even work. The charger nor the solder ever worked. Looked nice though.

Needed to solder a small area. Worked great and no cord to get in the way.

After using this on 4 soldering jobs it no longer gets hot enough to melt solder onto other objects, just to the soldering iron tip, and then not onto anything after that. Includes no spare heating elements and will make you go back to the trusty corded soldering iron.

Heats up pretty quick, good price, and pretty easy to use imo. And the only fun color of this product I could find. Would recommend

This product would be an OK product if you could just hold down the button for the amount of time you needed the heat. I thought this product was a push and hold temp. Device and gets to hot
