MAONO DGM20S USB Microphone for PC with Clear Voice & Noise Reduction

I have been using this Maono microphone for several months and the experience has been very good. The audio quality is clear, with a clear voice and very little background noise. I have used it for video calls, voice recordings and some streaming tests, and it has fulfilled perfectly.The installation was very simple: just connect it and it started to work without complications. The materials feel resistant and the design is modern, so it also looks good on the desk.For the price it has, I think it offers an excellent value for money. I would recommend it to anyone who is starting to create content, teach online or simply want to improve the quality of their voice compared to a built-in microphone

I usually don’t do reviews myself for products I buy off of Amazon but this microphone is actually so good. This is my first proper microphone and is so much better than my old headset I would use that had a mic. My friends noticed how good it sounds on calls way better than what I had so I’m very happy with it definitely worth my money and very beginner friendly I will say. It holds on well on my desk so no problems with the mounting or anything of the sorts like that so definitely no worries you should have there so overall a good microphone to get.Also I would send pictures if I wasn’t so lazy but could just scroll through reviews to get a idea how it will look for yourself but it’s cute in my opinion and I haven’t had any regrets with how it looks or sounds so do consider getting this mic 😋

Update: The company reached out to me and sent a new arm and base for the microphone. The replacement is much sturdier and no longer comes loose easily. I appreciate how responsive and helpful the company was in resolving the issue—great customer service! Because of this, I’m updating my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. The mic sound is good, though it is made of plastic and feels a bit cheap, but for the price, it’s a great deal.Original Review:This mountable microphone is okay. While the colors are great and the sound quality is decent (people can hear you just fine), the build quality feels cheap and flimsy. It doesn’t feel very sturdy, and I worry it might break easily. The arm for the stand is also an issue—it can slide out easily if moved too much, as it doesn't lock securely into place with the mount. Another downside is the lack of cord management. Unless you use something like zip ties to secure the cord, it’s hard to keep things neat. The audio quality on this is crystal clear, and the noise cancellation is genuinely great—it blocks out background noise without making your voice sound hollow or compressed.However, it loses one star due to a couple of frustrating design and software quirks. First, the physical gain dial is way too easy to bump and adjust; it’s super sensitive, meaning I frequently brush against it, accidentally dial the gain all the way down without realizing it, and end up muted until I notice. Second, Windows has a weird issue where it constantly identifies the mic as a playback speaker and tries to route all my system audio out of it, which takes some annoying troubleshooting to fix.Aside from those two annoyances, it’s a fantastic-sounding microphone for the price. Just be careful not to bump the dial, and be ready to fight Windows audio settings!

Great microphone for gaming and streaming!I bought the MAONO boom microphone for gaming and voice chat, and I’m really impressed with the quality for the price. The microphone sounds clear, picks up my voice well, and is a huge upgrade compared to a normal headset mic. The boom arm is strong, adjustable, and makes it easy to position the mic exactly where I need it. Setup was quick and simple, and it looks great on my desk.

Really good mic, heard that it’s good for asmr if you’re wanting to do that, very clear audio, has an adjuster to volume on the mic as well as a 3.5 mm jack port for a headset plug in if you can’t do bluetooth headset, has a great arm extender and have been using it daily and can change the color on the mic

Honestly, I have zero complaints about this microphone. It was easy to set up, the sound quality is clear, and the background noise reduction does a great job. The boom arm feels sturdy, the RGB lighting is a fun bonus, and having the tap-to-mute button is super convenient. Everything worked exactly as expected right out of the box, which doesn't always happen with tech. If you're looking for a solid mic for gaming, streaming, Discord, or content creation, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Modèle DGM20W version avec un pied simple. Il existe aussi avec un support long façon lampe d'architecte. Si on veut avoir accès facilement à ses nombreux réglages, il suffit d'utiliser l'application Maono Link. Avec différents modes: jeux, musique, podcast et la possibilité de fignoler et d'enregistrer des réglages personnalisés. L'appli est très complète et très conviviale, et propose des courbes pour ajuster les réglages. Et comme il s'agit d'un micro à condensateur, on se retrouve dans tous les cas avec un excellent rendu, qui prend parfaitement les nuances très délicates de la voix ou celles d'un instrument de musique. Sans oublier la fonction avancée de réduction de bruits.Le micro est aussi RGB avec également des réglages personnalisés, et ce modèle est fourni avec un bras pied de grue ou celui que l'on trouve sur les lampes d'architecte, très pratique.C'est un micro sans fil fourni avec un dongle wifi, mais on peut aussi choisir de l'utiliser avec le câble fourni. Il peut se brancher aussi bien en USB-A qu'en USB-C : un petit adaptateur avec câble court est aussi du voyage. Il est équipé d'une prise casque, et le réglage du volume s'effectue via une molette intégrée du diamètre du micro (placée sur sa base).Attention, je n'ai pas réussi à le brancher sur Windows 11 avant d'avoir mis à jour l'application (Maono Link). Mais une fois la mise à jour installée, le micro s'installe en mode Plug and Play sans avoir à installer quoi que ce soit en plus.
