Surprisingly good.

Having used the Red tiger dashcams recently, I wanted a simple solution for my Campervan. No need for a rear camera as my bike rack just gets in the way. This 2K units is far superior in picture quality and sharp image capture...especially when reviewing night time footage. Number plates are very legible...not that the RedTiger was bad...this is just better!

Very good camera in general, good quality in day time and night time although it can always be better. Small and compact The only big negative was that its not very sticky so it did fall off a few times and still worried about it falling now

Great little camera, easy to wire up & easy to understand the instructions from the manual but I find it easier with the WiFi connection on my phone for settings etc. Easy to install on windscreen with the provided clear adhesive sticker, I found that if I plug the usb c lead into the side of the camera then the gps still works without having to plug it into the gps module itself. I'm using a Samsung evo micro sd card 128gb haven't had an issues with recording since using the camera as long as its formatted to FAT32

VIOFO Mini Dash Cam A119 MINI 2 Neat compact camera that can record useable quality night time video. It's not a recent product but still performs better than a lot of newer models. I do not have the polarising filter fitted to this one, I have the same camera fitted to another vehicle with a filter, that gives more satuated day time colours, but doesn't remove all internal reflections. HDR is only available for lower frame rates, I prefer 60 FRS for which I recommend setting the EV to +0.6 or +1 for starters, that will give you a better exposure for your video. I used a LINDY 0.5m USB 2.0 Type C Cable with Dual 90° Right-Angle Connectors, the VIOFO A119 mini 2 will not work with USB PD cables.

Purchased this dashcam based on the many YouTube reviews that rave about this camera, my experience is far from positive & I’m therefore returning it. Firstly this dashcam is so flakey it’s unreal, it’s like a beta product. Camera seems to have a mind of its own, accessing the VIOFO app trying to get live view barely ever works, occasionally it will show live view but rarely, just not acceptable, also when I first set the camera up I had a good selection of video resolutions to choose from, now for some reason I have just two, both 25fps and previously it was on 30fps, using the app I have tried to reset the camera but the camera fails to restart & when it does it doesn’t change any of the settings! Annoyingly I have also purchased the Bluetooth remote & cpl filter which I will be stuck with unless I can return these also, therein lies another issue, the remote paired with the dashcam upon first setting it up, it saves a video as you’d expect, brilliant except further attempts to lock videos don’t happen, unless you go through the pairing procedure again, so basically the remote is as much use as a chocolate fireguard, not sure why there’s so much love for these cameras as my experience is appalling, yes I could go to the trouble of updating the firmware which unlike other cameras I own you can just do over wifi or Bluetooth but actually have to connect to a computer & download!! How rubbish is that… really unimpressed with this experience & it’s going back

New car so figured should invest in a dash cam. Used donager adapter to connect to my kia sportage. Dash came is small and was easy to set up and connect. Neat installation with the adapter. Cheapest dash cam about with the new starvis 2 sensor. Really enhances the night recording. Had to buy a sd card in addition but really happy with quality of picture, how neat the camera looks and ease of reviewing footage on the app. Would recommend

Decent dashcam and dead easy to install and setup. Would defo buy another if changed car.
