I love Melba toast and these are thinner than what I am used to but surprisingly better! Yum!

Melba Toast are one of my favorite crunchy snacks, I prefer these over chips any day. They are versatile, lightly salted and have a nice crunch to them. There were 2 boxes and in each box are 10 small packets with 6 Melba toast. I have the whole wheat ones, they are 80 calories for each packet and 2g fiber, 3g protein, low sodium and no cholesterol which makes them a great healthy snack.

I had never had Melba toast before. These are pretty much what I expected. A multigrain flavor in a thin crispy cracker. Some people like them just the way they are. I tried them plain. Meh. I broke them up, and dropped them in my soup. They were instantly soggy. Next I tried a little cream cheese, then a little peanut butter. Now I was getting somewhere. Much better. They were also good with just a slice of cheese. I’m sure there are lots ways to serve these that would be great. I was surprised that when you open the box, there are several small packages inside. They will stay fresh significantly longer that way.
