ZWILLING Fresh & Save Cube Box Set, 12-pc, Plastic, Airtight Dry Food Storage Container, Small & Medium Cube Set

Love these for candy storage. Havent had any issues other have noted but I do NOT put in the dishwasher. And I do NOT wash them in super hot water. They keep a tight seal for up to a month before I open them and break the vauum seal.

Feel really sturdy - Zwilling took long to come out with these but they are great. Also have a new design to the release button that lets you know visually if there's vacuum in the container. Better than the original food containers (which I have) in every way.

Good quality canisters however they do not remain air tight for very long. You have to check them regularly. Which I feel make them very expensive, especially since I purchased them for that reason. The bags stay air tight much longer.

These containers are shipped with a faulty silicone plug in the center of the lid (where you put the vacuum punp) After a couple hours, the vacuum seal breaks and it is due to the silicone stopper. I know this because I have their other product... glass containers that are suitable for refridgerator, microwave, etc.... and have exchanged the stoppers and they worked prefectly. The stoppers on these 2 products are different. I have called Zwilling customer service to see if I could PURCHASE replacement stoppers (didn't ask for anything free) and their response is that they do not sell that part... only thing to do is exchange the entire item! (If it can still be returned). What happens in a year or two if that small piece gets lost? (they pop out easily). So here is hoping Amazon will allow me to return this flawed product. They are not inexpensive, but I thought might be worth the expense if they worked well. Also, I had to call Zwilling. I first tried to email them, but no response. Customer service is just a telephone operator that kicks the can down the road. I'd not purchase again... sad that i got suckered for over $300 purchasing these faulty items.

Build with high quality

Zwilling makes a set for the refrigerator that sucks out the air with a vacuum. This set is for dry goods. You don't normally need a vacuum for dry goods. Instead, you push down the lid and a bit of air comes out from the center silicon piece. And then to lift up the lid you just pry it off. Also, there are no instructions on dishwasher use, how the silicon center piece works, or really anything. I had to look it up on their website to figure all this out! So I would buy these ONLY if you have the refrigerator ones and you want to keep consistency with your containers. They are super sturdy and well made. But if you don't already have the vacuum etc, I would buy the ones with the button on top instead - they work better and are less expensive.
