IT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE
Can’t understand all the people complaining about how thin it is. For the money you paid it is an excellent value. Damn cheap people, spend your money if you want a thicker cable that can’t be cut with pliers, there are plenty of them for sale, just pay for them. Want a $50 cable for $6, well it does not exist. This is a very good cable for the price charged, period.

Buena solución para evitar robos de oportunistas.
Supongo que no se necesita una herramienta muy potente para cortarlo, pero es una buena solución para evitar robos de oportunistas.

Easy to keep in a saddlebag or jacket pocket for when you need it. I added a small luggage lock to it. It stretches long enough to lock two helmets and two jackets (through the sleeves). It will deter casual thieves. But someone with the right tool will cut it easily I suppose. But who is walking around with a cable cutter AND wants to steal a used MC helmet?

A+ as a belt tool tether.
I've been using this since March, although for a decidedly different use than most reviewers here. I work as a theater technician which requires me to go upwards of 100 feet above people's heads. I tether my flashlight to my belt so that I don't drop it and kill anybody. It works phenomenally as a tool tether. Lightweight enough (and only 5 inches when coiled) to not get in the way. But heavy duty enough to not break. And it stretches to arms length, so I can use the tool anywhere that I can reach.

Nice flexible cable, but won't stop anyone with a wire cutter.
This coiled cable works well as it is intended, but it could be thicker. I think someone with a wire cutter could easily cut it. I know it will deter the casual thief, but I worry about those more determined. I think the quality is good, but I'm going to shop for something more secure for my $150+ helmet.

Secure rather than worry
Just as described. I used these while traveling to secure my bags and equipment. Learned that it wasn't safe to leave my snorkel equipment unsecured. Years ago I had it stolen when a crowd walked by on the beach. Someone grabbed it and I never noticed a thing until too late. Now I secure everything.

Works as a simple deterrent used in conjunction with an actual helmet lock to keep my jacket attached to my bike while I go into a store or running errands. It does feel thin enough that you can cut them with a simple pair of hedge cutters, but I have reasonable expectations. It's there as a deterrent, not as a preventative.
