They're OK...
The sound is what you would expect from mics in this price range. What bugs me, is there's no protection/carrying case with them. I have 6, no-name brand, inexpensive mics...ALL of them came with a case. These don't! A cheap case would go real far for a set like this. Overall, nothing special...but receiving four mics at this price is pretty nice.

Good entry level microphone with switch.
I had never heard of GearIT equipment before but this first microphone I’ve ever had from them is great. It’s a great dynamic microphone that can be used for quite a variety of uses. The typical cardioid pickup pattern makes it great for voices or using close with instruments or guitar amplifiers. The frequency response for this is okay for the price. It has a very nice tone to it and has enough presence to manipulate in post processing. The switch is quiet and an excellent touch for use as an MC microphone or any other use where it’s prudent to mute from the microphone. It came with a mic cord that works and will be useful when plugging into an instrument input. The microphone’s appearance is really nice and sets itself apart from the typical dynamic microphone. The construction is excellent with a really beefy and quality feel to it. The plug is really snug and gives a lot of confidence for the user. This package comes in a nice bag that is great for gifting and gives a really solid feel to the purchase. It comes with a nice mic stand clip that should thread onto most stands.. Overall it’s an excellent option for the entry level singer.

Perfectly decent microphone and seems dependable and well made rugged
Overall: Recommended! Great microphone value and travels well - nice constructionSo we run a production company and use lots of microphones from the major brands of course but this one is a nice little mid range quality pick for quick jobs that are maybe less do or die. Works great for backup vocalists for example or narration or voiceovers or public speakers and the like cheers : )

Surprisingly good for recording guitar cabs
Looks like an SM58 at first glance and feels pretty well made but that’s where the similarities end.Has an on/off switch, unmarked (up / towards the diaphragm is ON!). Handy I guess? Does cause a slight pop when flicking it on and off.Sturdy construction. Feels pretty solid, could handle some drops (externally at least.. not sure how the insides would cope!). Comes with a little carry case that’s cheap but does the job.Plugging into my Audient iD44, it sounds.. ok. Gets pretty boomy with proximity, fairly warm tone overall. Talking into it, I don’t hate how it sounds but it’s coloring the source and that may / may not work with your voice.Where I DID like how it sounded was recording my guitar cab. With the mic pretty close to on axis with the cone, the warmth helped offset some of the shrillness you find there and captured a great rock tone. Not the intended use for this mic I imagine but if it works, it works.Might be good to have some of these in a studio / rehearsal space for people to borrow, not a big deal if they get damaged. So I can’t see myself singing into it (maybe as a spare mic for backing vocals..?) but I would definitely use it to capture guitar again. For that, at this price, it’s a steal.4/5 stars.

Ok sound for background vocals
I play in a "bar band" and sing some background vocals so needed a microphone that didn't break the bank but sounded ok for the environment. This was pretty much what I was looking for, comes with a carry bag and mic clip, and when positioned well, EQ'ed right, and with a little reverb, doesn't sound too bad! Sturdy construction and rigid on/off switch instill a sense of confidence, but the low price and good sound are the hallmarks of this GearIT mic. Recommended for those looking for quality on a budget.

Great for the price!
I've been a professional musician for almost 50 years and in the last 10 years have produced two album. The second one for "The Captain Ledge Band" won an album of the year award in 2018.I love testing microphones so I was excited to receive this mic by GearIT.I tested the microphone against a Shure Beta 58.In my comparison I first used the Shure Beta 58 to sing through then using the exact same settings I plugged in the GearIT mic.To my surprise there was very little difference between the two. I was all prepared to run through a technical summary that included an RTA analysis of the mic but to be honest there wasn't a lot of differences to report. As expected the Shure was a little bit better mic as far as the sound of the mics go. To my surprise the GearIT mic has an almost identical metal body and the weight of the mics is almost identical. On the RTA there were some very minor differences in the upper frequency area's but the lower end of the spectrum was almost exactly the same.I don't know yet how the GearIT mic will stand up to a high SPL environment or how it will handle lots of use of the long term but I intend to find out. If you just need an inexpensive mic then this mic gives you a lot of bang for the buck.Pretty good mic at this price point and it performs surprisingly well when compared to a more expensive mic.

Desechables
Compré 2 micrófonos y funcionaron bien solo por una semana, después apareció un ruido muy incómodo como cuando tienen corto. Salen mejor los baratos que vienen con las cabinas genéricas

Good For Karaoke..
Its not the most impressive mic I've ever owned but not horrible either. At best it makes for a really good karaoke mic and its sound quality isn't too bad. A great mic for a singer on a budget.. I would recommend.

Great starter microphone
This is a great microphone for anyone looking to stream or voice call. Pair this with a basic microphone arm or full audio interface and it will meet all your needs. I prefer dynamic mics over condenser mics because for the average user because it is less sensitive to noise in the background, especially keyboard clicks. Some tuning will be required if you want the best results but as a plug and play, this is sufficient.

Set your expectations... and you'll be pleasantly surprised
Let's be clear - this is *not* an SM58. Set your expectations accordingly. However, if you've ever used a budget SM58 - the PG58 - then you'll be pleasantly surprised. I'd argue the low-end response - at least for my voice - is even stronger on this microphone, without sounding too muddy. I've used this to record a few tracks as well as live. In fact, I've got a nice few background vocal presets that sit really nicely in the mix when tracking with this microphone - nicer than my SM58 (too much presence), 57 (too much bottom) and Rode NT1 (too much mid/high).So yeah, cool microphone, great for the aspiring artist and live musician who knows what they're getting with this inexpensive piece of gear!

Surprising for an inexpensive mic
I ordered this mic as a very cheap back up mic to use in conditions where pristine sound quality may not be the primary focus. I decided to test this out at my band rehearsal and used it to sing back up vocals through. I was pleasantly surprised at the frequency response and the pattern of this mic. This is a dynamic cardioid pattern mic that has a pretty good frequency response and sensitivity. The mic has some weight to it and while this is not your standard SM58, it will get the job done in a pinch. The mic comes shipped in a very small cardboard box that includes a leatherette pouch, a mic stand clip and a one page instruction / spec sheet. The mic has an on/off switch that is noisy when the mic is connected to a PA or other sound equipment. For this reason I dropped 2 stars as a silent switch is absolutely necessary. If the switch is not silent, then dont include a switch. The connector at the base of the mic is solid and a standard XLR cable fits snugly in the input of the mic unit. The mic clip is pretty flimsy but that is not the focus here. The leatherette pouch has enough room to hold the mic , but not much else. The zipper on the pouch is very cheap and probably wont last very long. I do think that this is a good, cheap option for beginner singers that are looking for a decent first mic to rehearse with or to use on an instrument such as a guitar cab. This is not pro quality by any stretch but would be suitable in a live setting as a back up to regular mics. I would not use this mic to record with but will be using it as a vocal rehearsal mic for back up vocals.

Very good dynamic microphone for live vocal, hard to beat for the price.
The media could not be loaded. I needed another dynamic microphone for my practice room, mainly for backing vocals. I came across this microphone and wanted to give it a chance because I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a dynamic microphone like a SM58 or Beta 58.Included in the package is the microphone itself, a mic clip for your stand and a pouch. Honestly, the clip and the pouch are more than fine in term of quality, I’ll put the focus of my review on the microphone itself. For the price, the closest dynamic microphone you could get would be the PDMIC59 from pyle, which in my opinion, is not as good as this one (the one I had stopped working and lost the black coating). The closest and cheapest microphone you could get from shure is the PGA48. Compared to this one made of plastic, the GearIT is actually made out of steel and literally costs half as much. The one that would actually be similar is the PGA58, the lower quality version of the SM58. Honestly, with the test I made, I'm not really sure if there is a big enough difference to justify the purchase of a PGA58 over this microphone. For this microphone, you get a lot more that what you pay forIn the video I made and posted with this review, I compared the GearIT microphone with the Shure C607 (vintage model that cost used about the same price of a new SM58) and also the MXL 770 condenser mic as an additional point of comparison even if it's not the same type of mic. As you can hear, there ain't much difference between the GearIT and the Shure which cost about 4 time the price of this mic.All in all, as a main of back vocal for your band practice, it's literally impossible to beat at this price point. The only con in my opinion is that with time, maybe the on/off switch will stop working and render the mic useless… but that's something to be seen.
