Stansport Camping Plate

I got this plate for my senior dog to use since he has a hard time eating from bowls. We wanted something durable and easy to clean that wouldn’t harbor bacteria so we went with this stainless steel plate. It’s big enough to spread out his food and looks sturdy. Whenever we need to add any wet food to his meals the plate is deep enough to hold everything on it which is perfect for him.

Getting rid of plastics in food contact and this is part of it. I got a total of 4 of these for my RV. Great quality, edges are dressed well, super easy to clean, Not too heavy not too light, deep enough to keep the peas from rolling off onto the picnic table. Really enjoy how easy they are to keep clean too...

Very nice plate, I like it but the label has so much glue on it it was a pain to get off. Had to use glue gone to get off. Why not put the lable on the underside, wow!

The plate is nice and sturdy with a nice lip to keep food from sliding off the slick stainless steel surface the problem is the gigantic sticker that does not peal off cleanly. I spent 30 minutes picking the stickers off four plates.

I use as plate for feeding the dogs. They always chew up the plastic bowls. This works great!

Solid so far - used for two weeks. Easy clean. Flat bottom, high walls. Good for beans and such. Will revisit thie review after more time has passed.

Great plate to have especially when camping off grid when theres no picnic tables or benches to sit on. I recently took this on a 4 night camping trip and really glad I packed it. Great to prep food on, roll up tortillas, eat your meal, even for carrying multiple items around to save trips from tent to camp fire, etc. The guys I was with were jealous lol. However...because its stainless steel, it gets really cold in low temps and really hot in higher temps. So if your cooking something in cold conditions, I recommend warming the plate a bit for a few secs over a fire before putting cooked food on it. The surface is really shiny and works as a mirror too. You could also reflect the sun off it making for an emergency signal if need be. So be carefull to not look if sun is shining directly at it. Its light weight, very durable, no warping, and doesnt take up that much space in a pack. This would last long term and will be an item in my pack everytime.

El plato no es muy delgado pero tampoco extremadamente grueso, es grande, ligero y se ve resistente. Lo malo que le veo es que a penas y lo tocas y ya se quedaron marcadas tus huellas o cualquier mancha...

these are great stainless steel plates, ample size so your food stays in the plate. nice sides, and a good thickness to them. should last a long time. they are metal , so if you're putting hot food in them they will get hot as well , so you have to be aware of that when in use. but just like most stan stuff, you are buying a good plate that will serve its purpose very well.
