Very comfortable shoe
These are great. Feet are pretty touchy. I can wear most Nike's, but a couple of the other brands just don't work for my feet. I bought a much earlier model that this shoe has now replaced, as a running shoe about 10 year ago. I went to a dedicated running store, thinking I would walk out with one of the popular pairs like Saucony,New Balance, Hoka or even Nike. I had worn Saucony running shoes for years. I did a "blind" test and ended up walking out with the Mizunos (didn't even know they made running shoes - familiar with their golf clubs and baseball gear). Unfortunately other physical issues forced me to slow my run down to a daily walk. I wore them alternately with a pair of Nikes for walking and they have always been comfortable. Indeed so much so that I have now "assigned" them to my travel-only walking shoes (I like their color and style and didn't want to completely wear them out). Long story short, I knew I wanted another pair of Mizuno shoes. This pair was as close as I could get to the old ones. I need a wide toe - box and when I first got them, I thought they might be too narrow. But one time walking in them convinced me they give me just the right amount of support. I am very happy with them and the price point is right.

Very comfortable and the Wide option is accurate
Super comfortable and the wide is definitely wide. I bought the 16 Wide and the wide width is wider than every other wide shoe I own, even some that were labeled extra wide. I have other sneakers in wide and they’re never wide enough. These fit more like an XX wide in other brands. I have also washed these 4 times in the washer and they have held up great and still very comfortable and easy to walk in. I don’t run, I bought them because of the wide option and I am very satisfied.

5 stars, Like the old Wave Rider 25
Feels like a continuation of the same line as my previous Wave Rider 25s. Fits true to size, at a great price point. As a neutral runner at 6’1 220lbs, this replaced my previous mizuno prophecies as well. I like the prophecy series due to it feeling exceptionally springy with impact reduction, but they removed the padding on the upper tongue by the laces which causes a LOT of discomfort. I barely use those anymore, and instead will be using the Wave Legacies from now on.

go up a half a size.
good shoe. if you aren’t used to mizuno and you live in the US. go up a half size. for instance, I’m an 11.5 us. i got a 12. Good fit. only four stars because it’s a very stiff shoe. Feels like a baseball turf shoe. Which isn’t horrible but. It’s more rigid than I would like.

Wave Legacy is what Wave Rider use to be.
If you are a serious runner who wants speed, comfort and a neutral shoe and are thoroughly disappointed in the Wave Rider 28 then the Wave Legacy will be your savior. Having been a Wave Rider fan for years (25,23,22,21,19, 18,16) I found the latest Wave Rider 28s to be awful. However I discovered these Wave Legacy shoes seem to capture the old Wave Rider spirit. While running with the Wave Rider 28s gave me pain I found running in the Wave Legacy provided comfort. Again ever runner is different but this was my experience.

Great Gym Shoe
These Mizunos surpass the Nike fitness shoes I normally uses for gym workouts in terms of fit and overall comfort. They are perfect. Fit to size. Great value.

Impressed sized 16
Fits as a size 16 should. Impressed by the comfort. Not mad with the purchase at all. Lightweight and looks good. No clue on how long they will last though.

Super comfy for daily wear
My husband has a bad back and knees and loves these shoes. He’s able to walk longer without pain and the size was perfect
