Let’s be honest here nothing is going to prevent theft if someone wants it enough. If you’re looking for peace of mind knowing that you have secured your ride, this is a great setup. I really like the quality of a bag and the handcuff style lock. It’s super quick and easy to install, and I like that the chain links are covered to prevent any scratching. This is a very well thought out product and as soon as I saw it, I had to have it. If someone comes up with bolt cutters with enough time of course yes they can take your ride. But for the average Joe walking around, trying to make a quick getaway it won’t be that easy. I advise parking where there are cameras and if possible have a visual on it. I would also advise getting an Apple AirTag and placing it somewhere on the scooter so you can actively see its location in case of a theft.

I bought a scooter and immediately couldn’t figure out how I was gonna lock it up regularly lo and behold I went to Amazon and look what I found. This thing is brilliant, heavy duty. You can’t lock yourself away from it because of the key mechanism and they even sent three keys for you to stash in safe places. I got the upgraded version with the Velcro on zipper compartment and I can’t tell you how handy that is super easy to use long enough to get around everything sturdy and intimidating as hell five stars highly recommend.

Strong locks easy to use. Chain will do but I would feel a little better if it was a bit thicker. Good for quick store runs but I use more if I have to lock up for a period of time. Note using for e-bike not scooter. Rubber coating is nice as well as the chain cover to prevent scratches. You still have to be careful as not all the metal can be coated.

I got two sets for my kids' scooters, so they could go to the park on them. The scooters are not too big or expensive, but they still need to be able to lock them up. I liked the reviews of this brand. I was torn between getting the colored ones so my kids could tell them apart, but I ultimately went with the black because it came with the case. These chains are solid and heavy, so when I attached the case to the top of their scooters, it made them too top heavy and they fell over. So instead, I just took them out of the cases and attached them to the base of the pole. They sit well there out of the way and the kids only need to unlock and attach one side because the other side is already in place. So if you are getting for kids' scooters, get the colored ones as the case was not as useful. Overall, the quality and appearance is great and I like how the cuffs have silicone, so they do not scratch the finish on the scooters. The keys are easy to use. I checked each key set and they only work on one of locks, so the keys are not universal, which is good. It comes with 3 keys, so I am able to keep a couple at the house for when my kids inevitably lose the first one.

I have been using electric scooters for years as a primary vehicle, and am confident this is the best scooter I've owned yet. The 30 mph speed makes me feel much safer on roads where cars are going 35 mph, it handles well and the battery life is great. I encountered a battery problem, but their customer service was excellent and got me back on the road quickly. I was even able to hop on a call with an engineer to help figure out what the problem was which is way above and beyond anything I've seen from a manufacturer like this. I'd highly recommend this for more experienced riders, and it has 4 modes to let you go at slower speeds for beginners, so it's excellent for them too.

Its the daddy of all bike chains.

Arrived today. Was pretty excited to be able to use my Ninebot ES3 more... rode it to one appointment. Locked it up outside - exactly as the directions say to. Triple checked the locks were locked and tight and couldn't slip off. Came out an hour later - scooter was gone. Lock was completely gone (so they didn't cut the chain, they either picked the lock or cut the cuff). Really really unhappy. At the very least, I should get my money back for trusting this lock on a $400 scooter.
