ELEGOO Mars 5 MSLA Resin 3D Printer, Smart Mechanical Sensor

very nice. I am not up to snuff with all the latest machines, but the last ones i had were the photon monos and this thing is like 100 years into the future by comparison. 0 failed prints as a result of the printer itself after about 100 figures printed. the free pro license to Voxeldance Tango was a very very nice gesture as well. i used chitubox a few years ago and again, this software blows it out of the water. fast prints decent printing area touch screen is responsive and crisp. elegoo also offers really good resin at a fantastic price.

Amazing product, easy to use and set up, way affordable, the only thing is it's hard to clean, but that's gonna be the case with any resin printer, I didn't think Id need the washing/curing station but i was wrong, if you get this printer just get the washing/curing station and save yourself some time and frustration

Overall a great printer, I was amazed with the quality it could print, and based on what I saw when trying to figure out how to use it, it is a lot easier than most printers. My only complaint is that if the USB with the model being printed disconnects, the print will stop, and there's no way to restart it, you have to start all over printing.

My purchase arrived today on time. I did get it unboxed this evening and setup on my table and let it go through its self check cycles and it showed everything was 100% and ready to do its test printing and then start to make actual prints that I'm waiting to print out on this new 3d resin printer. Looking forward to finally getting it and being able to print out new things.

Yeah I'm about 5-10 cast resin prints in(Siraya tech Purple has worked very well, and perhaps the best of any with it) and can see exactly why everyone raves about this. Getting some really high quality prints from it so far,no complaints at all! Definitely suggest getting the wash station that goes with it - its worth it, trust me! Elegoo is awesome! UPDATED: Unfortunate update just a few days later: I had to return the Mars 5(i was enjoying it so much!) due the screen randomly just not turning on or booting. Tried all the typical steps and got nothing. That is fairly unacceptable for something less than 2 weeks(?) old from any manufacturer. This would get 5 or even 6 stars if it actually worked!! Had to return it to Amazon, I may have gotten a weird/defective unit or something. I think the whole trick with Elegoo resin printers is that they are actually selling their Ultra's(both Saturn and Mars), and the base model just sort of makes you want the features of Ultra rather quickly. I re-ordered anMars 5 Ultra that should be here next Tuesday, hopefully that ones much better - because this printer really did have some serious capabilities if it would,well,work being purchased brand new for several hundred dollars.
